Black balloons/ KARL is released

Today I went to Friedrichstrasse to join the release of KARL by Karl Lagerfeld. The whole thing seemed really futuristic to me as the idea was to scan the posters presented with your iPhone or iPad and directly find the scanned items on the net-a-porter.com website. So everyone was standing in front of the posters with their apple equipment, trying to win something from the collection. A lucky girl right next to me also won the 1000 Euro main price! Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky, haha. But at least I got some free coffee in a KARL designed paper cup and a goodie-bag including a teeshirt and leather gloves. Kinda cool. But it was freezing - they should've done the whole thing inside, or later this year for that matter!
The collection itself is typically Karl I should say - a lot of black and white, leather and metallic pieces. The heels looked kinda nice, but then again, 200-300 Euro isn't THAT cheap after all, I guess I'd better wait for a rise of payment before shopping the collection ;D You can shop it only on the net-a-porter.com website and I guess you should be quick, it's probably sold out very soon!

Thanks to ->[GRAZIA Magazin]<-, I got the chance to attend for the first time the much talked about (not always positively but well, Michalsky gets the press he wants ;D) MICHALSKY StyleNite at Berlin Tempodrom.
Starting off with an amazingly beautiful invitation, the evening included anything you could want if you like a good show: dancers from Friedrichstadt Palast (funnily, we met some of our friends from there as well), singers Jessica Six, Frida Gold and Marina and the Diamonds and the presentation of Roeckl's, C'est Tout's and finally MICHALSKY's new collections:
The tie-dye look of MICHALSKY's new collection probably was my favourite, it all seemed slightly 70s with the playsuits and floaty dresses, but with a very modern touch - well done!! C'est Tout's cowboy heels were a WANT WANT, too, though!

Afterwards we joined in the party before we fell into our soft beds at the hotel :) Perfect night, hopefully not the last time ;D

First outfit post of 2012, yesss, finally managed to take some pictures as it finally turned a bit sunnier again!

This month I had the chance to choose an item from GLOSSYBOX STYLE and decided for this studded and fringed bag. It came in a totally pretty wrapping as well. Gotta love the colour and the shiny studs all over. It's also large enough to be a perfect bag for work at school! Each month there is new stuff to chose from on their website. If you're from Germany, go check them out!

Hidden treasure

During my stay in Hannover, my sister did a pretty photoshoot with me in a very bloody freezing attic and me only modelling lingerie. I'd have preferred fake fur coats ;D Anyway, I can't wait to show you the results, it turned out so amazing <3

The stuff I'm wearing is a leather harness by Mint Siren, American Apparel and H&M (!) underwear and blue/white Miu Miu's and red Topshop heels. The stuff on my head is made by myself.

Have all of you sorted out your NYE outfits? I finished today with buying myself lovely glittery heels at the ZARA sale - they're perfect and give the finishing touch to my outfit. Can't wait to show you!

Last tuesday I met up with Christian of [The Styleograph] to play human puppet for his night shot experiments on Christmas markets. Thanks to that, I now have a couple of pictures to accompany my holiday greetings to you all!
Unfortunately the cold and wind totally destroyed my eye make-up at some point of shooting, so I had to take the pictures Christian sent me into my friend's skin retouche programme so I wouldn't look all too zombie-like, haha.
Anyway, with the Christmas tree all finished and the presents all packed, I am ready to relax a bit for now and simply enjoy my nearly two weeks off work!

Well, I'm really wondering right now... no snow, still loads of work and well, it doesn't really feel like Christmas... but it never does, does it? ;)
Thursday I'll be off home for a week, though... looking forward to that very much. And to the new Sherlock Holmes movie, haha.

The Go Getter

Just a short one. And my way of keeping warm: laying my favourite pieces on top of each other - tadaa, I don't feel cold anymore (lucky though there hasn't been any snow yet!)

I've bought all my presents for Christmas already - wahooooo. I'm really early this year and I tell you what, that feels really good! Now the only thing stressing me out is work, but luckily, it's the Christmas holidays in a week and I'll be going back to relax with my family a bit.

Totally forgot about these pictures - my sister took them when I stayed with my family in late September/early October and in fact, I totally love the look of these, a mix between golden 20s and early 30s. I felt like a film diva from the old days in that long forest green wool and velvet coat I borrowed from my mum :) (I even quit smoking by now, that's how old these pictures are, yays!)

Terribly sick in bed right now, struck down with manflu once again, ughhhh! Does it ever end? :(

While my boyfriend and I took an indian summer sunday stroll on our favourite cemetery in Kreuzberg, we had a very unusual encounter with a friendly fox. Such a special moment, he was even posing in front of my camera :)

Part one of another fun shooting I did with my little sister today, wearing my mother's coat, purse and kitten heels. The soft light is amazing, I didn't edit the lights or whatsoever on photoshop, the pictures simply turned out this amazing by putting a nylon stocking on the camera's lens. Yay for good old ways of photography ;)

Heh, well, yeah, I'm still alive (as you can see) and actually quite good. I've been too busy to get you updated more often but well, today some new pictures after all, with my perfect Zara autumn coat!

Right now, most of my free time is dedicated to sewing a victorian chalk pink velvet coat - which is one hell of a shit job come thinking of it, but well... it's a lot of fun, too (sometimes xD) if only the sewing machine would do what I asked of her, grrrr!!
And I'm also one of the 1 million beta users on Pottermore and yeah, I admit that I'm addicted to failing at brewing potions and casting spells xD I simply hope that Professor Snape will take me down to his dungeons for extra practice lessons soon enough! I love being a Ravenclaw student, too... but oh well, I better stop ranting about nerdy stuff now and leave you with my pictures xD

I'm back home for a week right now. Today my sister and I had so much fun shooting two different outfits I created out of her amazing wardrobe. She owns about everything you need for any kind of look you want to create! I literally wish to live inside her wardrobe!

Anyway, this is most obviously inspired by my ongoing Harry Potter obsession and the influences of our 27-hour Harry Potter movie marathon which took place from last monday to wednesday, including the midnight premiere of the final part of the movie series (which was grrreat, but I need to watch it again!). Even though I still love the books even more.

But here is my take on the rather mad and evil but also rather stylish Bellatrix Lestrange, even though I admit, I still do not look much like Helena Bonham Carter ;)

Welcome to summer, boys and girls. Even though it's pouring again outside right now, but never mind that! I unpacked my old H&M dress again, realised I don't like maxi dresses on myself, cut off the lower third and finally feel like wearing this dress every day again!
Even if I'm a little sick again, I hope everyone is feeling fantastic!
On a different note, I'm on a Harry Potter reading marathon right now. I've finished "The Order of the Poenix" in a week and now waiting for my boyfriend to buy me the 6th book, so I can go on! Besides having fallen in love with the books, I also need to finish the 7th one before July 11th since we decided to attend the all-Potter-movie-night then! Whoot, SO SO excited, haha. I might be dead afterwards, though... but that might be worth it.

As it appears, I have been sewing a new dress a few days ago, made of a particularly beautiful and soft jersey fabric in a dark plum colour. It appeals to me in its simplicity and long, narrow shape. I also love the deeply cut back of it, to show off my shoulders, haha.
I love the sunset hour, it's the most beautiful light of the day and everything looks more pretty in this light. By the way, the flowers in my hair are of one of the many jasmine bushes that are in full bloom right now, spreading their sweet scent all over town. Ahh the bliss!

I'm in love with the Cosmic Print dress that lovely Marlène ofInsight sent along with another beautiful dress last week. And especially now that it's really getting warmer round here, there's no way around lightweight short dresses as this one. They have a lot more pretty amazing stuff at Insight, so go check them out!

Yesterday, as you might be able to detect, we spent the afternoon at a lake, just hanging around sunbathing and swimming, even though the water was freezing and staying inside for longer than 2 minutes was simply impossible.

After such a nice weekend, going to work again early tomorrow morning is actually ok with me, and with the sun still shining, it's even better :) See you soon!

On Monday, we took a stroll down to Schloss Charlottenbug where we had a look at the marvellous baroque interior of the castle and took a walk in the beautiful gardens surrounding it. I love getting out sometimes to see such beautiful places, I really wanted to move in there... unfortunately, I couldn't take pictures, but you probably can imagine, anyway ;)

Chrochet is everywhere this spring, so I had to go along, too... I love this cute little H&M dress, it's great for warmer weather and somehow looks so 70s, together with my Mulberry bag and the H&M block heel sandals ;)

Well, as Peter Jackson has decided to FINALLY go back to Middle-Earth, I've also decided to come back to my lovely blog, do a little bit of posting here and there, provide you with new pretty pictures and pretty clothes.

I've been working a lot lately, been really sick as well but now I'm up and the engines are running smoothly again which feels nice. I hope the millions of my friendly followers (that's YOU as well, yeeahh!) will still remember me and come back now that I've decided to do a lot more posting again. The National - Racing Like A Pro
Don't you just love the colour of these pictures? It's amazing how winter sunlight sometimes looks... I didn't change the colour at all on these photos, it naturally looked that turquoise on the photos! Still, I can't wait for spring, being able to walk outside without a heavy coat over any kind of lovely outfit.

Loved the sales at all my fave high street shops (Zara, Weekday, H&M etc.) and finally got me the lace-up Happy Monday skinny jeans I meant to buy months ago but simply didn't manage, haha. And I got them so much cheaper than they originally were. Amazing!
Life is great at the moment, so many strange yet wonderful things happening right now that I almost feel overwhelmed by the greatness of things once I come thinking about it. I'm all "wow" all the time, haha. Gotta love it.

Still winter, feeling surreally awake after not having slept at all during the last night. I never believed I could do that still, but it's fascinating for sure xD
Did anyone already watch "Black Swan"? I can't wait to see it hopefully this weekend. Other than that, I'm moving to the new flat this weekend as well, feeling like this is finally gonna be a place I can call "home" in Berlin :)

Hi all, a belated happy 2011 to all of you and my excuses for not having posted anything in nearly two weeks (again!!). I'm really busy right now, but really feel like posting more in the near future. Just need to find more inside spots for photo shoots as I hate standing in the cold without a coat on (and showing off only my three different coats tends to get kinda boring, too xD).

This time, however, I met with lovely Vio of [Microphoneheart] again for a little shoot in the melting snow. The ground is terrible right now, though - ruins all of your shoes (which is why I'm saving all my expensive shoes for when the shit on the grounds has been cleaned off again).
Also I need to save money right now with all the troubles I have with my flat(s) and all... can't even afford a nice shopping spree at the obvious high street stores right now... and the miu miu bag has been put on the waiting list again as well :/

Little Red Riding Hood

I found this beautiful red coat at the Kleidermarkt in Kreuzberg while my sister payed me a two-day-visit for the concert of "The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger" (band of Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl) two weeks ago at Frannz Club. Fantastic music, only the mixing was a bit terrible, we couldn't hear Charlotte at all. But nonetheless, do check out their latest album "Acoustic Sessions", it's a beautiful folk album for your days in while it keeps on snowing out.
Talking about the Lennons, my man and I went to see the John Lennon-as-a-teenager-film "Nowhere Boy" yesterday which I enjoyed very very much. Good actors, good music and a story which seemed almost too dramatic to be true - which it is of course. Aaron Johnson sometimes almost managed to make me believe it was John himself on the screen.

Major problems with my flat right now, trying to sort it out, thus I don't very much feel like posting a lot so please bare with me until everything is getting better again!

Love/Hate

When it's cold outside, you have to become creative when wanting to wear the summerly grey dress you bought months ago, so you have to start layering with other dresses/coats/etc. and attaching funny things (like I did with the little leather bows I bought at H&M a while ago). Also it's time to celebrate the return of the lovely fake-fur coat from last year - welcome back, wheeheee!!

It's been snowing like mad lately and I've been slipping and falling a lot lately, finding myself down on the cold ground with torn pants and cuts in my hand - bloody hell! But the snow is still pretty ;)

And meeting Vio a while back. By now, Berlin is completely snowed in, all white and my legs hurt from stumbling to work and back home. Anyway, I like snow and I'm happy about it. Only when moving places last weekend, the snow was quite a pain in the ass to tell the truth. Once I've settled I'm sure more posts will be up on the blog again - right now, I (and my boyfriend who takes my pictures) are far too busy. Things will hopefully be less stressful again soon!

Here comes one of the last (I'm pretty sure) light-dressed autumn outfits as the temperature is about to drop heavily and probably, the snow is coming, too!
Last week I met up with the lovely and beautiful Vio of [MICROPHONEHEART] (pics coming later) with whom I spend some fun hours in the 'hood. It's also there that I found the stuff I'm wearing in this outfit minus the boots.

Another week has come to its end, not much to say about the weekend despite that I did some packing stuff at the old flat (I'll be moving places in two weeks - woot!), went to the movies ("Easy A" - quite fun!!) and stayed at my man's place as usual :)
Today the weather was fantastic, really warm and sunny, so I simply *had* to seize the chance to wear a summerly dress out for the last time this year (most likely, anyway). The dress by UK brand The Remedi is even hand-sewn and of a great quality - I've hardly worn such a wonderful dress in my life, before.

Also, I figured a necklace wouldn't be necessary with such a beautifully beaded dress, but bracelets and rings were a must, nonetheless. The large birdcage ring I'm wearing is so fun and it quite catches the people's attention.

By the way, if you're looking to invest in a beautiful ring yourself, I found this site that has a sweet collection of jewelry promise rings. You could also show the site to your boyfriend if you're intending to get engaged some day soon - I know it's in the air, haha.

Here we go, it's getting colder and colder and we take the high leg boots out of our closets again! Together with a caramel knitted dress, leather belt and fur collar, I feel like I'm back in the 70s - and I like it. Someone else who likes this dress is my boyfriend who enjoys touching my shoulders which I usually never show in autumn/winter for comprehensible reasons.

Unfortunately, I'm down with the flu *again* for two days now which is SO annoying. Most likely due to my working with kids all day long - those guys spread every possible virus like maaad!

I simply felt my favourite autumn-coat deserved some more attention. Unfortunately, what you frequently get with vintage clothing (or is it only me?) is that the buttons keep falling off until I finally took the time to sew them on again by hand - one. by. one. But still, it's worth every stitch in the index finger and each broken needle.

Well then, November has started, here we go again for another winter. It's christmas soon or am I mistaken? The stores are full of it already...

A while ago I got this blouse as a present from Arafeel. Thanks so much! It's a cute little thing, however, a bit too pink for me to wear it on a regular basis. But of course, you can order it in different colours (which I might be doing as well since I really love chiffon tops in general).
The coat is a wonderful vintage find in which I'm literally sleeping - I hardly take it off anymore, especially when it's freezing outside like the last days when I leave the house at 6:30 in the morning for work!
As you might imagine, we took these pics some time ago, I only didn't get round to posting them, yet. I couldn't wear peeptoes like that anymore right now, too bloody cold!

Late flowers

When we took these pictures yesterday afternoon, I at first wasn't quite convinced by the weather which looked grey and cold/windy/rainy and I was afraid the colours wouldn't turn out to look as nicely as they could with better light. Anyway, after we returned home, I was surprised how nicely the plain grass supported the greens of my new H&M floral dress. It incorporates the perfect autumn greens and fits with all my favourite colours right now.

Apart from the weather, it's been two lovely weeks with me being on holidays off work. The man and I even took a weekend off to travel round by car, meeting the parents (both sides) and all that. Unfortunately, the weather - again - didn't support our activity-plans, but I had a great time nonetheless.

To catch this beautiful sunset on camera, we took a walk through Tiergarten a few days ago and I truly enjoyed the walk. When the sun shines, autumn really must be my favourite season!
This week and the following, I'm off work, staying at home, doing this and that, buying furniture at IKEA, meeting the families and all that. Lovely, I just hope I'm not getting too bored!

As I already wrote about half a year ago, the cemeteries in Kreuzberg are really lovely to take walks on. Also, autumn appears to have decided to turn sunny again which is sweet. Last week was quite busy, what with work and other stuff we did - like enjoying the view on the Berlin Funkturm and going to see "The Social Network" at the movies. Also, my boyfriend is occupying my MacBook at the moment as his own is broken and right now being repaired, so I'm not spending that much time online as I'm used to, haha.

It's leo again with my little H&M cardigan which is one of my fave pieces of clothing right now - I'm wearing it so often because it goes so well with everything. Quite underwhelmed by the H&M sales right now, though - so boring.

Unfortunately, but we'll have to accept it. These pics were taken some days ago when it was still sunny and not as cold and windy/rainy as right now. It's really uncomfortable right now to be outside.
Today we went to some sort of childrens' theatre with our school class and the kids sure had a great time. But I was also freezing my feet off while standing on the open field for too long. Should've worn winter boots already!

This outfit only shows "old" clothes, haha. The velvet dress is about 1 1/2 years old, the leo scarf is back in the stores but I bought it last year as well as the trench which I bought last march. Still, I really like this look, it's chic and clean and just right for a sunday on the town^^

It's been a terrible week weatherwise speaking - rain, rain and more rain. Luckily, the weekend has decided to become a little more sunny than the week before. Still, autumn is apparently here which forces us to dress a bit warmer already. In fact I had no idea what to wear for spending half the day outside, so I decided to wear my leather biker jacket together with my leather shorts even though I was not at all sure if that could work or if it was too much of that leather stuff. But in fact, my boyfriend told me it's one of his favourite outfits of mine so far so I guess it must be okay, haha. I'm also apologizing for the bag which doesn't quite fit the outfit colourwise, but it was the only one I kept at my boyfriend's place.

Work is good, I'm getting used to waking up at 5:30 am but it's hard and I don't like it at all - but well, what's to do about that, eh? The kids are lovely, that's all I know ;)

Oh well, has it really been another week already? I've been spending half of it in bed, anyway, struck down by a serious cold, including sneezing, coughing, temperature and the whole lot. Hasn't been fun I can tell you, and it's not over completely, yet. Anyway, glad to say I'm feeling better already.
As many of you, I've been really liking some nice denim again, and of course there's loads of it in the stores right now, so what to choose, right? I went for a lovely fitted denim shirt by H&M for the beginning, and I'm wearing it all the time, really. Here, I'm combining it with my Zara khaki shorts and - again - the wonderful booties from H&M.
Didn't do much this weekend due to my illness, but hopefully, next week will be better again. And I'll see the kiddies at school again!!

Alright my honorable readers, this is where I'll tell you a funny story. Not only had I been stupid enough to have lost my (green) wallet in the forest (also green mostly!) about 7 years ago, I also got it back when a day later, a woman on a bike was passing us by while we were searching, asking if we by incident were looking for a green wallet! But about a month ago, I got my beautiful brown Alexa bag kidnapped with everything (and I mean everything like wallet with money and cards and all) inside!! It was one of the worst things that had ever happened to me to this day (and I know I'm lucky this is the case, haha). But funnily enough, my mobile phone was found with a guy who had obviously stolen it only the morning after so we could actually go to the police and all with a little hope for a happy ending. Anyway, I still did pay a lot of money to get all my cards (transportation, students' licence, you know all that) but only two weeks after my bag had been stolen, the Deutsche Bahn wrote me a letter that they had found it and that I could retrieve it at Bahnhof Zoo! So when I went there, the bag was there (with a little damage to the front, unfortunately) but with everything still inside, except for the cash! Can you believe how many lucky angels I must have? Haha.

We took these pics last weekend, when we also went to see a lovely Italian band I've known from Hannover from about three years ago - Le Man Avec Les Lunettes! Lovely guys, great music, always a pleasure, so you should check them out on Myspace or on their website lmall.it

We took these pics at Potsdamer Platz, right before visiting the film museum which was amazing, I loved it, particularly the parts on silent film and the mirror cabinet style walls and floors. There were tiny snippets of film, letters, cards and posters, miniatures and models of film sets all in one place, so worth seeing!
Actually, I didn't think we'd indeed be taking these pictures outside yesterday since it was pouring down like mad when we first went outside. But the heavy clouds and wet grounds made these photos particularly lovely in a way. I've also fallen for the architecture in the background.

The cool stripey jumper I'm wearing I found at Zalando.de, a shopping website I initially only knew for their shoe collection, until I noticed they sell other clothing, too. Quite nice pieces among them, too!

Today we'll be leaving for Berlin again, back to work and all. I also recalled how to knit (completely forgot it haha) and got me a sewing machine for myself (my grandma gave me her old one as a present!) So once I'll have a little time for myself I'll start to design a bit of clothing again - I'm full of ideas already!

Concerning my outfit, I finally found myself a cheap denim jacket - I've been looking for a perfect one for ages. This one I found at a cheap second hand shop in Hannover and it's actually vintage Levi's with a perfect fit and colour. The navy pants are from the same store, I completely fell in love with these ones, too. And thirdly, the yellow pumps, aren't they fun? I've never owned a pair of yellow shoes before, except for my wellies when I was a kid. Anyway, they're great and fit the dry yellow grass on the ground so well ;)

With my love missing

This week I'm visiting my family back home which is nice. My boyfriend came along which is even nicer. Today we took it easy, went shopping and later took a stroll down to the new town hall where we enjoyed ice cream and a fabulous view. Then my sister took pictures of my boyfriend and me together (mainly for our parents but I'll put some up on my wall as well) but because he's shy I won't post them here just yet :D Afterwards, my sister went home and we enjoyed some food and drink down at the lake before I lay down by the water on my man's lap and had the late afternoon sun shine on me. It was beautiful, only that on our way home, he decided to push me under a water fountain so I had to ride the tram seriously and completely wet, haha.

Today you can see me wearing my new-ish (already bought shoes even after these) Terra Plana shoes, which are so lovely, comfortable and pretty at the same time.

The long and short of it

Even with me being kind of broke, besides not being able to access my giro at the moment (more on that in the next post, I'm too tired right now for telling long stories) I was lucky enough to discover these little beauties last minute at mytheresa.com and to make them mine, too! They arrived super-fast and in a beautiful packaging! My first miu miu shoes and I'm more than happy with them!

While being at it, I thought I'd share a picture of some of my favourite shoes as well, even though they don't include all of my faves, simply because I tend to keep some of my shoes at my man's home and some at my own.

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I visited the Alte Nationalgalerie, taking our time to enjoy 19th century paintings on three floors in an incredibly beautiful building. It was a marvelous place to spend the saturday at, really.
While being there, we decided to take some pictures nearby, and what a coincidence I was wearing the same colours as in my last outfit again: nude and black. I love combining these two, they go perfectly well together.

Discovery of the day: "Marilyn" shoe by Terra Plana, a brand that only uses natural and recycled material for their shoe production. Plus the leather is buttery soft which makes these heels so comfortable. And of course, best of all they look simply beautiful :D Found at Dajka in Berlin-Kreuzberg while taking a stroll with my man.

I finally got to wear my alternative to black blazer these days, as summer finally decided to take a break and clouds suddenly started to gather around our heads. And even though I quite enjoy summer most of the time, a little bit of cooling down is quite welcome at the moment. And did you notice the collar of my velvet dress? I made it myself and I think it's lovely like this!

Started working last week, even though summer holidays are still up and running. Right now the job is to entertain the kids that are still there and not on holidays with their families. It's nice, the kids are cute and fun and the other teachers are all lovely, as far as I could already get to know them.

Today, my man and I took a stroll around Grunewald and its lake, not without me nearly collapsing near the end of our walk, though - I'm such a weakass when it comes to taking longer walks (okay, walking in high heels was my own fault). Anyway, the nature, the weather and the lake were pretty lovely, even though there was no way of accessing the lake for a swim except for the dogs' beach, which we kind of didn't feel like entering, haha.
Still hot outside, so still trying to wear as little as possible to face the heat. Hope everyone is doing well, and let's congratulate my man for having taken my pictures for the first time!

Hello new flat, hello Berlin!

Even if this is far from finished, I felt like sharing some pics of my new place with you guys. And even if we had tons of boxes, bags and stuff in the transporter, seeing it all arranged in my two-room apartment makes me wonder where all the stuff went! Well, looking at the bright side, I'll have loads of room for dancing around all night and day (which I won't, at least not at the moment, the heat is crazy and any movement is one movement too many!)

So let's start the virtual tour of the place in the bedroom (I'll leave out the kitchen and bathroom because they're just not pretty, haha). The bedroom is nearly empty, it only includes a bed (unbelievable, right?) and a closet (far too small one, not even half of my clothes fit in there, so I'll need to buy another one in the near future). Well, and one of my guitars, my prettiest one I'll have to say :)

Well, actually you *could* see a bit of the kitchen, haha.
The other room is my living-room and it doesn't even include a sofa which is too bad because I'd love one but I simply can't afford one right at the beginning so I'll have to wait until at least october! I've arranged some other things in there, though. Just have a look:

Moving in, moving out

I love playing with light, when it shines through delicat fabric, reflects on the leaves, on my hair... summer is so much more fun for taking pictures.

On saturday we'll finally move things to the new flat - more than 350 km away from the old one - crazy! But I can't wait to decorate it all anew and present the final result on here!
Only sad thing is that I won't be able to take pictures with my sister anymore, meaning that I'll have to find a fun to work with photographer in Berlin soon enough. Perhaps I can train by man to do the job as well, we'll see...
Anyway, I hope the new pictures will still turn out as beautiful as the ones my sister used to take. For me, it's not only about the clothes, really. It's about the idea, the accomplishment and the final result of a concept in each series. The surroundings for me are just as important as the shoes, as my hair, as the shades and light spots on the grass...

Germany lost the match against Spain... too bad, I SO wanted our boys to win. But well, Spain was clearly better and I'm looking forward to sunday's final match!

Live Forever

Maybe I don't really wanna know how your garden grows 'cause I just wanna fly...
Today we sat in the garden, just had a cup of coffee and some biscuits, but shortly after we'd sat down, the clouds grew so big that we had to rush back home to pull the washing off the line immediately. And also, I painted my desk white today (outside) so we'd have needed to carry that one back in, too. But as it is, the black clouds just passed us by and merely dropped one or two raindrops... hmm, very funny, the weather keeps making fun of me!

Another thing I did today was trying on all of my three selfmade Lord of the Rings-inspired Elven dresses again... I once made them for several Ring*Cons and felt like coming back home only by trying on the dresses again. I miss them old geeky days a bit I must confess, haha! One day I should photograph the dresses for you guys, too!

Now I'm leaving you again in order to study for pedagogics a bit more... can't wait for the end of uni-times!

Yeeeesss, Germany won today's best of 16 match against England!!! Such an exciting match, even with the wrong decision of one of the referees... but face it, our boys'd won anyway!

I'm wearing florals again today - my lovely ditsy playsuit is just perfect for hot days as these. And we were still sweating, I love summer.

Star-dress and football-fever

Exactly! Yesterday I was sitting at the uni café when suddenly one of my English lectors came in and celebrated how France was losing their match, haha! Then she was also adding that England was gonna leave today as well - which as you all know didn't happen, they won!! Now, only Germany has to win tonight as well and everything will be good (for now!)
Today (and yesterday for my oral exam which went quite well), I wore this John Zack for Topshop star-dress from some seasons ago. I love stars, you might remember my starry jumper as well. When I was checking the fashion magazines at the store, I heard some two guys behind me saying "I think I'm seeing stars - you, too?" "Yeah, absolutely - is carneval on already?"... unbelievable! :D

Finishing up with uni business while my man was visiting the Alphonse Mucha museum in Prague on his job excursion - SO jealous, I'm such a lover of his work!!

Summer in the country

Spent the last few days in Hannover, planning loads of different things regarding my moving from one city to another, including all that money business and other... And it's so hot outside right now, really lovely, summer-time is here! Bought some bookshelves today, exciting, huh? Much more exciting: my lovely lovely bag and the feathers in my hat!
Tomorrow I'll be going back to Berlin, finally my man and I will be trying to spend some more quality time together - and putting some sort of carpet into the new flat... extremely fun, heh!

Fast Fuse

Yeah, I'm still alive, actually very much so! And I simply have to tell you that everything appears to work out perfectly well: I found a beautiful flat, I handed in my Master thesis, I finished loads of other work for uni and it's only one more month to go until my days as a student are ultimately counted!! Not sure how I'll manage the teaching in the long run, but we'll see. What's most important now is that summer stays here for a little longer and that the football World Championship finally starts!!

Dreaming of summer

Having just survived a seriously boring flu, I'm getting better again, now. Unfortunately, I've lost some days for writing my Master thesis, but it's still looking okay, I'm almost finished and will hand it in on June 3rd. Oral exam is on the 22nd of June, too... ughhh!!

In two days it's my birthday, yet the weather forecast looks as bad as ever for the 20th of May. I've never EVER had rain on my birthday, at least I can't remember! Too bad... only thing to look forward to is the presents, since not even my boyfriend is probably gonna be here (luckily I'll see him on friday again, though!)

Currently I'm not only busy with uni, but also with looking for a room in Berlin - well, not a room, better a complete flat, haha. But a one-room place should do for the beginning. I'd much rather move in where my man lives, though, their flat is amazing (if only someone would do some serious cleaning up there xD) But I don't see that coming in the near future - two other guys are still living with him in that flat, heh!

There's probably so much more to tell, I just can't remember it right now. My family is watching Twin Peaks for the first time, haha, so hard not to reveal any spoilers! And Lost is coming to an end, I'm so sad... the last two episodes better be amazing!

You're my idea of beautiful

A few days ago, I got inspired by a fellow Lookbooker (Frankly: Fashion Zen (visit her blog!)) who created a miu miu-inspired skirt by ironing little sparrows on her skirt. After having searched the web for sparrow-, or cat-print fabric for weeks now, I finally had a new solution for DIY-ing miu miu dresses myself - unaffordable as they are! (And I hope miu miu won't mind me borrowing their idea, I just loved the cats so much - still hoping to get my hands on their shoes!!)

So here's how I did it: I bought transfer paper, made a little drawing of the miu miu cat, digitalised it in Photoshop, printed it on the A4 transfer paper x32, cut out each single cat and ironed it on the H&M Garden Collection dress. And today I'm here to present you the results - hope you like it!

By the way, I got my first real teaching job at an elementary school, and thus will start to work in Berlin in July - can't wait! (Also can't wait to finally live in the same city as my perfect boyfriend)

Pink ribbons...

... around my ankles. Me likes. Just played around with this ribbon that I found when I was looking for material to wrap presents in. It looks qite a bit Rococo, don't you think? For my part, I had to think of Jean Fragonard's painting with the girl on the swing, kicking away one of her shoes, haha!
I kind of want to integrate this ribbon-thing into my outfit for my boyfriend's birthday - we'll see. I think I'll wear one of the H&M Garden Collection dresses on that occasion as well. I'm in love with nudes so much this spring, aw! And with white or cream patterned tights, double aw! (These tights were bought at a small boutique in downtown Hannover last year, though I don't remember the name)

A while back I was invited by the Brigitte-team to Hamburg to shoot a bridal hair-special. I had so much fun that day, met great people and was even allowed (!) to keep my hair like this when I left, so that my boyfriend and I could later on walk around downtown and Reeperbahn with me having white orchids in my hair!
I'd always work with those guys again, they are amazing people!

Uni has started again, I'm feeling good about it so far, even if it's a loooot of work this semester. Will spend my afternoon writing and reading stuff for my MEd thesis.

Yesterday was my first time wearing these floral bleached Topshop jeans, after having gone through a long process of getting my hands on them. When Topshop first stocked these pants, I ordered them right away, which only resulted in them booking back the money to my Paypal account together with the information that they could not be sent to me at this moment. So after a month or two of waiting, I rediscovered the jeans on the Topshop website and immediately ordered them again! Lucky it worked this time, they're so pretty.
Had a hard time shooting pictures today. First, a couple of teenage boys started staring at us, then made fun of us and finally they were throing their food boxes at us, forcing us to tell them to fuck off and then walking away ourselves. After that, we had a hard time taking pictures because my sister accidentally switched to RAW+HQ on the camera menu which immediately filled up the memory card completely, unfortunately we only found out about our mistake at home, haha.

Tomorrow I'll see my man again, I miss him baaadly! Also, uni starts again finally, can't wait for this semester to be over so I can finally start working!

Broadcasting the news again from Hannover, missing Berlin badly, can't wait to go back there, soon!
I threw together this outfit in a rush, taking pictures right before going to the swimming pool. It's a super sunny day today, despite the weather forecast and its promised rain - so much for promises, eh!
Well, I rediscovered my harem pants in the depths of my closet just now and decided they were perfect for spring, luckily they're still as good as new. Oh and a new pair of sandals to present, aren't they pretty?!

I wish to state that today is officially the first day of spring! Such beautiful weather to spend the whole day outside (AND finally we can show our tattoos again, it's been so long since we last saw them so well!)
That is why I'm wearing my favourite spring-colours today: Light blue and sand. I stole the hat from my man, the light blue tie as well (hope he doesn't mind). I just thought it would fit my outfit brilliantly and indeed it turned out to look pretty good.
Berlin has so many beautiful cemetaries - this one is at Bergmannstraße in Kreuzberg - I wish I could take pictures at all of those because I love taking walks on a beautiful old cemetary any time!
Uni is starting again, soon so I'm kinda busy again, starting to work on my Master thesis already. Nothing too hard, though, I still have got enough time to enjoy the rest of my semester holidays taking walks, cooking, sleeping and watching movies.

Yesterday, my man and I spent the afternoon with his older sister and brother, eating cake and later on at an Italian restaurant. It was there that I took today's pictures, too (Not at the restaurant, apparently but at his sister's flat). After that, we were heading back from Potsdam to Berlin to see a concert of a Japanese band called "Detroit 7" who were damn loud but also damn good. Had a great time.
No plans for today, tomorrow will be my first day at the elementary school - I'm excited and anxious to meet all the teachers and the class I'll be teaching on friday.

I figured I should stop writing anything accompanying my pictures in the future. No, not quite, but isn't it strange that mostly, once I apologize for not posting outfit pictures, the next day I already have said outfit pictures ready to post. And not because I'm trying hard to get my pictures taken the next day, it mostly just happens, like yesterday when I met up with beautiful Susanne again who suggested to take some outfit pics together. Funny world, right?
Another funny thing: just recently my man and I were talking about the MWI (Many Worlds Interpretation), a theory in the field of quantum mechanics coined in 1957 by Hugh Everett which basically states that once we think that a certain thing would be possible to happen, no matter how absurd it sounds, it is definitely going to happen (or has happened) in a parallel universe. This absolutely blew my mind and got me thinking on all that (believe it or not, I am SO fascinated by physics and mechanics once it comes to fantastic subjects like this). AND NOW, watching this fun abc-series "FlashForward", they actually make this theory one of the key ideas of the whole story. If you're interested, you should Wiki the "Many-worlds interpretation", it's really fascinating!

Just to say I'm still alive and having a good time (despite my lovely red spots have returned for a visit. Let's hope they won't stay that long - you know, family meetings = boredom).
No pics recently since I'm not home where my sister (photographer) is.
We've been doing loads of fun stuff over here, like taking walks, eating out and we went to see "Up in the Air" which didn't win any of the Oscars it had been nominated for, unfortunately. And finally, we also watched "The Ghostwriter". Class! Loved it.
The day before yesterday we went to Ka De We (it was my first time there, haha), which is basically a huge, expensive shopping mall in Berlin. I've been trying on all those wonderful Chanel, Miu Miu and LV handbags and shoes, we went searching for a handbag for my man and finally, we had lunch at the buffet there, in a charming 1920s surrounding.

Good evening world! A completely black outfit today and I like it - it kept me real warm in the sun (let's wear black now before we start to melt in it once it gets hot outside!)
I'm so glad all the snow is gone, finally taking walks is fun again.
On thursday, I'll have my last exam for this semester, and it's a shitload of work, but I'll be so happy when it's over. After that, Berlin again, can't wait to get out of this city asap to just spend loads of quality time with my man, enjoy the city and also work a bit (for a week) at a real interesting school where I'd love to work starting this summer! I'd be so happy if all this worked out the way I want it to!

Started to watch "FlashForward" yesterday, wow, 2 episodes and I'm already hooked!! So super exciting! (I believe the guy in the stadium, the only one awake, is Chris Angel!! Haha!)

Now, since spring is coming (hopefully), we're facing a serious problem here: chippings on the pavements. Today I couldn't stand it anymore, armed myself with a huge broom and started cleaning the street in front of my house while my sister was taking pictures of me.
Man, you wouldn't believe how exhausting that was (not so much the posing though). Afterwards, we took a long walk over the hill, simply having to enjoy the sun and warmth and all.

Tonight, I might go and watch "The Ghostwriter" since I really want to see what Polanski does these days and didn't get the chance to watch it last week already.
But before that, I wanna eat some pancakes with maple syrup. So have a lovely evening everybody and enjoy your weekend!

Thoughts growing out of her head

It's been a while (again). In the meantime I went to Berlin, including a full cultural and culinary programm. I can't even remember everything right now, or I'd have to really think about it, but for example I went to see two Berlinale films, "Bróder" and "Zona Sur", both South American productions, both in their way absolutely great films. I think I really got hooked on South American filmmaking now and I want more, haha.
I also met up with a fellow fashion blogger, the lovely and talented Susanne from [the leopard dress]. We went shopping together, to Berlinale and later on her, I and our male companions went dancing until the morning hours - and despite a terrible cold I was carrying around with me, I had a great time.
The other days I had a job interview, went to an art opening, swimming, to restaurants and bars. Anyway, now I'm back home, studying for my last exam and watching "The Avengers".

(Still) Snow White

Today I had enough, I didn't want to feel cold anymore, so I put on three different dresses, a jumper and finally, my old vintage fur coat. Tell you what, it didn't work. But I won't moan about the weather anymore, there's no use, it just keeps on snowing and snowing and snowing.

Heard about quite some interesting Berlinale films already, and also about one that's not gonna be shown on the festival after all: a French production titled "La Rafle", with Jean Reno which premiered in Paris today (I think). It deals with the largest imprisonment of Jews that was ever done in one day - by the French police in this case, in July 1942. From what I've seen so far, definitely worth watching.

I'm gonna be in Berlin myself next week, looking forward to a little break very much!

The good thing about the booties with the silver tape on the platform is that once the silver looks a bit shabby and torn, it is very easy to remove (as you can see on these pictures here), and once you want to add new silver tape, you can just do it again!

The ground is so slippery at the moment that I'd like to basically just call it an endless slope of ice. Terrible, I want spring. Now. Thank you.

I bought this coat in the sales and it almost felt weird taking pictures of it, after nameless other bloggers already posted their outfits in this (obviously trendy) coat. Anyway, who cares, really. If I like it, I'll wear it and take pictures of it, too.

Tonight, my dad and I will start watching the first two episodes of LOST, season 6!! As someone of you already said, I really need closure now as well!
And tomorrow is my mom's birthday, my sister made apple pie - can't wait to try it!

A while ago, I got inspired by this whole silver heel/wedge thing, so I thought why not just take one of my favourite pair of heels and create a silver platform and heel myself? I just bought some silver tape, cut it to the right width and stuck it to the heel. It's really lovely and didn't fall off until this day.

A few notes on the side:

1) Excuse the crappy photography, the weekend is near and that means quality pictures taken by my talented photographer Isabelle will be up here again very soon!
2) I spent the afternoon upgrading and uploading this new layout. I wanted something clean but more structured than before, plus I was sick of two sidebars, so here we go - I love it!
3) Can you imagine, a little (okay, maybe a little more) bit of icy streets in the morning and the public transport system in HI completely collapses for a whole day?! Jesus Christ I couldn't believe it!
4) It's my mom's birthday on sunday (the 7th), hopefully that means looaaads of cake!
5) It's Valentine's Day, soon (the 14th), what are you gonna do for your favourite person that day? Roses, cake, a walk in the zoo, to a restaurant, to the movies? Anything at all? Nothing at all?
6) Exam-time is almost here, uaahhhh beware!
7) LOST, season 6 starts this week - I'm excited!

I'm so busy at the moment, I don't even have time to take a cigarette break, haha. End of the semester always means running up and down, spending too much time in front of the laptop and studying for exams. So looking forward to when all this is getting better again, when we'll have time to go out or just stay in being lazy.

Oh man, they got me - again! After having spent the evening watching tons of old Oasis concert videos I just fell for them again, soo much. I just wish they were still existing and I could buy me a ticket for one or two of their gigs straight away. At least I can remember all those great concert moments... Noel, Liam, get your shit together and well, let's be serious, you can't live without the other. C'moooon!

If you don't want to wear wellington boots all the time, an alternative for this muddy/snowy/rainy weather are definitely your fave pair of Doc Martens. I really love my black patent ones.

Song of Joy

Here's another batch of pics I took with my tiny new camera the other day. I do like my eye make-up on these, because it's a little darker (not in the sense of "lack of light" but you know.. *darker*) and the turquoise (Chanel inspired) and purple nail polish (by Essie)I'm wearing looks so fun.
As to your question, I do photoshop these pictures, naturally. In these, I added a new layer on top of the original photo with a grey texture, then I added a 50% opacity and finally rendered the intensity of colour and the contrast.
In the last bunch of pictures (about which I got the questions a while ago), I did almost the same. I added a new layer in Photoshop, and that layer I then filled with a light-texture (the light spots you can see in the pics) and rendered the intensity of colour and the opacity.

Home in Hannover for the weekend, finally able to transfer the camera pics to the laptop (brought the wrong USB with me last week, D'OH!), listening to my dad watching the telly, feeling completely stuffed with fish, apples, potatoes and so on. Phew!!

Stars and the sun

I actually meant to spend my evening getting some work for uni done, but then I figured that it could wait until later tonight so I am officially allowed to waste my time round here for a little longer.

Could you, my honourable readers, do me a favour and vote for me if you think I'm good enough to take pictures for G-Star RAW at New York Fashion Week in February? That would be soooo kind of you. Just click on the black banner in the right side column of my blog. (for the people that don't get the point, I don't, either xD all I know is I want to take pictures there, would be so much fun and I think I'm good enough to do it)

Today was moderately cold (6°C), but it was bearable. The snow has vanished, the sun has reappeared and we were all jumping happily out of our fur coats into the leather biker jackets. (Not for longer than an hour, though, because my hands turned into a weird mix of blue and pink - violet that is, right!)
The Topshop boots are epic, beautiful patent leather, silver heel instert and insane platforms - yay for being 1,90 m tall!

So what's everybody's plans for New Year's Eve? The year will soon be over, 2010 is gonna be big!!

Christmas presents! + Answers

I really hope you had/are having a very sweet and lovely Christmas! For my part, I didn't ask for any presents this year, but still, this is what I got. I can't tell you how positively surprised I was, I mean, hey, Edgar Allen Poe? My mom is a genious, she always gives me the best books. And my dad, what can I say, a Samsung ST45 digicam, I really didn't expect that, so good for concerts, filming stupid videos and for fooling around in general, heh!
I'm gonna wear that uber pretty cameo necklace for New Year's I believe, it's so pretty, it needs a great occasion for wearing. And my sister gave me liquid eyeliner and a piece of soap that smells of roses and looks like a pig, haha, can't get more perfect than that.

Now then, let's turn to your questions. This is what I got so far, if you feel inspired now, don't hesitate to ask more, I'm willing to do a Q&A part 2 later.

1) What's the meaning of your tattoos?

Oh, damn, I promised to do a tattoo-post a long long time ago. Okay, anyway. Here's a picture first:

My first tattoo ever was the tarot-card inspired moon surrounded by stars on my upper left arm. I was pondering a long time on what to get, and finally chose this. I personally feel a strong connection with the moon (I can't sleep on full moon nights, ever!) and I enjoy tarot. I also like how the moon generally is connected to the female, so yeah. And the stars, well, Venus is my favourite, but generally I love looking up at the sky and the stars. What would we do without them?
My second tattoo was the ice-cream cone on my inner right arm that you don't see on the pics right now, but I'm sure you all know it. I love ice-cream and my favourite flavour in summer is strawberry, so there you go. I just thought it'd look really cute (and it does, haha)
Then I started tattooing myself, so for practice reasons I tattooed a bunch of bunny-fish on my upper left leg. They're inspired by the fab artists Kozyndan. I adore them, even if they don't have a specific meaning except for maybe "everything is possible". I got a lot of compliments for that one.
After that, I tattooed a bunch of black and white roses on my lower right leg. They're inspired by my tattoo-inspiration Kat Von D. She always tattoos the most beautiful bunches of roses on the skin of her clients. Not a specific meaning, I just thought they're pretty.
The fruit-lady on my right arm doesn't have a specific meaning, either. I just wanted cherry blossoms and fruit on my arm, so that I have something more healthy after licking on that ice-cream, hehe.
The waves and the magnolia flowers I was adding up to the roses on my right leg because I wanted the tattoo to grow. Because I have a strong admiration for Japanese tattoo culture, I wanted something inspired by that.
Finally, I tattooed myself a leopard pattern next to the roses because leopard is never out of fashion and to give the whole tattoo on my leg a kind of frame. Sometimes I'm not just a little kitten, but a real cat, so that kinda fits, haha.

2)What's your height?
I'm 1,76 m(that's 5'9 ft. methinks)

3) Since when are you interested in fashion and what influences your style?
Hah, well, I'm not really really interested in fashion. I don't often read fashion magazines and/or style.com. I'm interested in streetstyle and what people were wearing decades ago, that's *really* interesting.
I love the roaring 20s (but also the 80s) a lot, so that influences me I guess. Also music, fashion blogs and art(nouveau) massively influences my style.

4)What are your sources of inspiration?
Everything. Logically. I can get inspired to write a short story by watching a sunset. Pain and happiness inspires me. History inspires me and music of course. I guess people should just read Oscar Wild to answer that question :)

5) Is your hair naturally dark?
Ahem, to be quite honest, it's actually a bit more fair than right now. My original hair colour is something between ash blonde and bright brunette. I dye them with Diadem by Schwarzkopf in a colour called "Espresso".

6) How do you get your hair to look so shiny?
I use simple Nivea shampoo and tons, tons of conditioner afterwards that I leave in my hair for half an hour at least if I have the time ;) I also straighten them, even my fringe.

7) What's your favourite recipe?
Ohh, that's difficult. But okay, uhm. You mean cooking/baking? I guess a recipe for truffles/chocolates. They just consist of tons and tons of chocolate, melted in warm cream with vanilla flavour and sugar, then I add butter and spices or Bailey's, when it's cold I roll little balls and later on cover them in chocolate. They're the best, everybody loves them, haha.

8) Which book changed your life?
Will have to say "The Lord of the Rings".

9) Which 5-10 celebrities would you invite to a party?
Okay... 5 living: George Clooney (+Martini), Irina Lazareanu, Kyle MacLachlan, Peter Doherty, Sean Lennon (+girlfriend because they only come in pairs)

We've got a baby!

Well, admittedly, my sister has. Her friend gave her this Shaun cuddly thingie for Christmas, so we took him out for a walk today. This sheep can say "meeehhh meehh" if you squeeze his nose and when you pull his tail, it starts to shiver :D What a lovely toy!!

New pictures will follow as well really soon, I'm pretty sure. And it's my Christmas break now, so I guess I'll have at least a little time off Uni and all that terrible studying for my final year! (2010 will change everything, I'll finally be freeeee from uni and studying, yeah!)

I've completely fallen in love with this ruffled blouse I found for a handful of € on ebay, it's so easy to wear and I love the collar and the oversized look to it. It's a couple of sizes too tall for me, which is lovely because I can almost wear it as a dress! And cheapo lucky finds are always welcome of course. I feel like a complete Hippie in this, haha. My parents (late '68 generation) would (perhaps) be proud of me.

The fake fur teddy coat is a cheap second-hand find, too. I just had to shorten it a bit because I felt it looked a bit too "granny-ish" for my taste with it covering my knees (and I do like to show my knees, haha) But now it's perfect for the upcoming cold season. I feel this is the season of fake fur anyway. I'm eyeing the ZARA leopard fake fur coat right now, let's see if it'll be mineee soon :)

Today I treated myself with a haircut. I was in desperate need to trim my bangs especially, I could hardly see a thing :D
Later we took that lovely walk towards sunset and took some pictures.
Tomorrow, the new uni semester starts, kinda looking forward to it, all new seminars and seeing some people again will be sweet.

Wow I didn't have the time to log into my blogger a lot lately, so I just have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYBODY for all your lovely comments, there was a whole bunch of them I didn't read, yet... so that completely made my day right now :) You're a bunch of wonderful people, I love each one of you!

Emem over at [We Love Colors] was sweet enough to send me these really fun splash patterned tights which I am really thankful for, they're too cool for school xD yet, I really wanna wear them for uni someday, just to see the reactions of my fellow students. I remember wearing a pair of blue sequin leggins to uni last year when everybody was looking at me like I was mad.
Anyway, these tights are so soft, very stretchy and much stronger than your usual H&M tights I should say. Oh what am I talking, they're so fun, get yourself a pair if you want!

Btw., it's so cold over here already, I didn't feel my fingers for half an hour after having come back home... winter is just horrible!

PS.: I've just been browsing my blog a bit, the booties I'm wearing here are the same ones I was wearing back in [this post], some of you might remember. But by now, I'm wearing the studded belts in a different way around my ankles AND I had to dye the platform and heel black because it was totally destroyed (sod ZARA shoes, really!) I also coloured the sole golden, just for the sake of it :)

Errors and omission

Hullo! This was quick, wasn't it? One day I'm apologizing to myself for having neglected my blog a bit, next day I come up with a new outfit post! I must say, I'm slightly proud of myself, haha.

This is one of my favourite autumn-combos so far. I feel I'm wearing this all the time. The coat is customised by me, because when I found it in the second-hand shop, it was far too big for me. I had to take in the sides about 10 cm on both sides! I also had to narrow the shoulders, remove the freakin' shoulder pads and on top of it all, I shortened the sleeves to a 3/4 length because I just liked it better. So that's it, my customised trench.

Uni is about to start soon, although actually, I have no idea if it's next week or the week after, haha. Should check that again.
I'm also waiting for a phonecall right now, to see if I'm taken to the Zooooo tomorrow or not, heh. Oh well... have a lovely day everybody!

Time is running oh so fast / Sale

Oh my, I've been neglecting my blog a little too much lately, and I'm honestly sorry. It deserves much more love, so I'll try to be a good girl again and take care of my cats and dogs a lot more again.
If the weather wasn't so lousy of late, I would have posted a lot of outfits, BUT I just won't stand in the storm and rain just to have my sister photographing what I'm wearing. So we'll just have to wait for sunnier days again, even though I know they'll become rare with the coming season. I never look forward to Christmas, by the way xD

I've been working a lot on my sewing projects recently. I've really been accomplishing a lot: a) I just finished knitting another Rodarte-inspired dress by order (if anyone's interested in one, just let me know, I still knit them by order), b) I'm gonna start knitting a cardigan in the same slouchy big-knit style, again by order of a lovely reader of my blog. c) I've been sewing a pair of dark blue velvet leggins (they look rad with a slouchy grey knit-jumper!) d) I've also been sewing a white lace neckholder-dress (aw so cute!) and e) I'm currently working on a Kimono-inspired dress with a black and white flower-print fabric. Super-busy but it's super fun!
