#BlackXS Excessive Session Official Video: with Ellie Goulding in Paris

Finally, here it is: the official video for the second of the Excessive Sessions for Black XS L'EXÈS with the wonderful, talented and charming Ellie Goulding!
The atmosphere at Le Carmen was breathtaking, the acoustic versions of Ellie's songs bewitching and the whole day was definitely one to remember.

I really hope you will watch this little video as I'm in there as well, asking Ellie a question about her musical influences which she answered very thoroughly.

Endlich ist es da, das offizielle Video der zweiten Ausgabe der Excessive Sessions für Black XS L'EXÈS mit der wundervollen, talentierten und einfach nur charmanten Ellie Goulding!
Die Stimmung im Le Carmen war atemberaubend, die akustischen Versionen von Ellies Songs bezaubernd und der ganze Tag schlichtweg einer, der definitiv in Erinnerung bleiben wird.

Ich hoffe wirklich, dass ihr dieses kleine Video ansehen werdet, denn ich bin tatsächlich auch darin zu sehen (und zu hören), da ich Ellie eine Frage zu ihren musikalichen Einflüssen fragen durfte, die sie auch sehr ausführlich beantwortete.

New In: Favourite Items

Today I want to show you some things that quite recently have come into my possession. I love these little item posts somehow. Firstly, because I really enjoy photographing accessories and little things, putting them into a nice light and all that. Secondly, because it gives me a decent overview of all the things I've acquired recently so that I won't buy too much of the same kind in the near future, haha. You gotta draw the line somewhere, right?

Heute möchte ich euch mal wieder ein paar Dinge zeigen, die in letzter Zeit in meinen Besitz gewandert sind. Ich mag diese kleinen Posts irgendwie. Erstmal, weil ich wirklich gerne Accessoires und kleine Dinge fotografiere, sie ins rechte Licht rücke und all das. Außerdem ist das auch gut für mich, weil ich dann einen Überblick darüber behalte, was ich mir alles so zugelegt habe. Man muss ja irgendwo auch die Grenze ziehen, nicht wahr?
Ich hoffe, euch gefallen die hübschen Teile und die Fotos. Wir sehen uns ganz bald wieder mit einem Outfit-Post, in dem auch einige dieser Dinge vorkommen werden!

Topshop velvet cowboy boots that I fell in love with in London and consequently needed to buy. They are perfect, aren't they? They'll be my parents' Christmas present for me, I'm so happy about that!


The perfect little cross body bag for autumn and winter by Hibourama! It is burgundy and the leather looks like croc! So cool, I am wearing this bag all the time now! Want one for yourself now?


The Hobbit movie will be out soon, so how could I survive without my Barad-dûr-ring from Romwe? It really looks like the fortress of Sauron, don't you think? Haha! And the cross ring from H&M isn't so bad, either.


My first ever banana-heel shoes ever - from Jeffrey Campbell! I found them at the sales at Office Shoes and simply couldn't resist. The studding is perfect and the horsetail fringes are funny, too.


A very nice Art Deco-inspired necklace I bought at Primark in London for about 3 Euros. I am already seeing me wearing this with a million outfits - love!


Some pink lipgloss I received from Yves Saint Laurent the other day! It looks amazing over ruby red lipstick, you should definitely try!


Azur-blue nail polish and eye-shadow also from Yves Saint Laurent! Wonderful and perfect for an icy winter make-up.


And basically, all the make-up from YSL: foundation, nail polish, lipgloss, eyeshadow and mascara. Thank you so much Yves Saint Laurent and Ykone!!!

Quite a romantic outfit for those chilly, gloomy and utterly uncomfortable days to spend your time outside. Luckily, we were soon heading inside to a wonderful place called East London which is my only British refuge in Berlin Kreuzberg (and a very nice one, too!) where I can have as much cream tea and ginger beer as I like. Perfect!

I'm in love with fluffy pullovers right now and I've been searching for the perfect one for ages. You can't believe the excitement when I received a package from the sweet people at Baruckello who seemed to have been reading my mind. I was literally jumping for joy upon unpacking this perfect white angora jumper!
It fits the necklace I received as a gift from SIX so perfectly that I immediately had to combine the two. Not without adding some black to my outfit, though - of course, I can never go all sweet, that wouldn't be me. But the skirt (which is selfmade by the way) is made of a soft velvet fabric, so it's all cozy and comfy again.

Heute mal etwas Romantisches für diese kühlen, düsteren und einfach ausgesprochen ungemütlichen Tage, an denen man sich trotzdem draußen aufhalten muss. Zum Glück sind wir ganz schnell vor der Kälte geflohen und zwar direkt ins East London, mein einziger britischer Rückzugsort in Berlin Kreuzberg (und ein sehr schöner noch dazu!) wo ich so viel Cream Tea und Ginger Beer trinken kann wie ich mag. Perfekt!

Ich liebe momentan ja fluffige Pullover so sehr und war schon seit Ewigkeiten auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Exemplar. Ihr könnt euch kaum vorstellen, wie ich mich gefreut habe, als ich von den lieben Leuten von Baruckello, die anscheinend Gedanken lesen können, den perfekten Angora-Pullover bekommen habe! Ich habe Luftsprünge gemacht!
Der Pulli passt auch perfekt zu der Kette, die ich von SIX geschenkt bekommen habe, weshalb ich die beiden gleich mal kombinieren musste. Natürlich nicht, ohne noch ein bisschen schwarz mit beizumischen, denn ganz so süß bin ich dann doch nicht. Aber der Rock (den ich übrigens selbst gemacht habe), ist aus einem ganz weichen Samtstoff genäht, sodass er mein Wohlfühl-Outfit perfekt gemacht hat.

A short while ago, my lovely fellow bloggers and I were invited to a wonderful two days in Paris by the Paco Rabanne team to attend and report about the Excessive Session with Ellie Goulding in a beautiful club called Le Carmen, filming a video with her playing a little concert solely for us (WOW!!).
By the hashtag #blackxs, you were able to follow us all on Instagram throughout the event and now I want to show you some of the pictures I managed to take during the busy day at the event!

I was particularly excited to finally meet some of my favourite bloggers: Adeline, Tony, Louise and Dulceida, loved to catch up with my beautiful blogger friend Alice (thank you for taking my pictures!!!) and got to know a new German blogger: thank you Julius for being such a wonderful travelling companion!

And a big love and thank you goes out to the lovely Paco Rabanne team and Ykone who treated us the most perfect way you could ever imagine! The Hotel Amour was simply mindblowing, my room was like a live comic-strip - uber cool!

Vor Kurzem wurden einige meiner Bloggerfreunde und ich von Paco Rabanne zu zwei wunderbaren Tagen in Paris eingeladen, um etwas ganz besonderes zu erleben: die Excessive Session> mit Ellie Goulding samt Privatkonzert (WOW!!) in dem wunderschönen Le Carmen Club.
Über den Hashtag #blackxs konntet ihr uns während dem Event schon auf Instagram folgen, doch nun möchte ich euch ein paar Fotos nicht vorenthalten, die ich während dem Event geknipst habe!

Ich habe mich besonders gefreut, endlich ein paar meiner Lieblingsblogger kennen zu lernen. Außerdem habe ich endlich meine Bloggerfreundin Alice wiedergetroffen und lernte gleich noch einen neuen deutschen Blogger kennen: Danke Julius für die perfekte Reisebegleitung!

Einen großen Dank auch an das Paco Rabanne-Team und an Ykone, die sich unglaublich toll um uns gekümmert haben! Das Hotel Amour war einfach nur unglaublich, mein Zimmer sah aus wie ein lebendiger Comic - übercool!

Rebecca: Meine persönliche Ansicht: Feminin sein! Hin und wieder mal Kleider tragen. Sich pflegen und einparfümieren (ja, ich finde das sehr feminin!). Auf Ghettoslang verzichten. Sich seinem Wert bewusst sein. Sich nicht sinnlos schlagen. Aber das wichtigste, finde ich, ist: Warmherzig, emotional und fürsorglich sein, denn mit diesen Adjektiven verbindet man schon seit Anbeginn der Zeit die Frau, und das ist schön und wahr. Doch Moment! Es gibt noch etwas, was eine Frau ist: Stark. Wir müssen uns doch nur die Strapazen einer Geburt anschauen, um das zu wissen. Eine Frau hält außerdem eine ganze Familie zusammen und kümmert sich um alle. Und eine Frau kann die Welt regieren, oder zumindest ein Land, und das ziemlich gut. Mittlerweile haben viele Frauen dieser Welt Ahnung in Sachen Selbstverteidigung und Kampfsport, was meiner Meinung nach nicht "unfeminin" sein muss. Wir brauchen keinen Mann, um uns zu beschützen. Falls das trotzdem einer macht, ist das aber schön.

London Diary: Carnaby Street

During my uncountable visits to London, Soho has always been my favourite place. I know that Brick Lane and Camden Town are cooler, Notting Hill and Marylebone better situated and Hackney and Dalston more trendy, but I don't care. Neither does it bother me that Soho probably isn't what it used to be, but the little streets, the cafes and the wonderful restaurants just get me again and again. Walking through little boutiques and shops, sitting down for a cup of Earl Grey for five-o-clock tea and having overpriced Tapas in the evening is just way too nice to be neglected. And so is Carnaby Christmas. I mean, who wouldn't use golden records to decorate their street for Christmas? I surely would!

And so I met up with the super cute Van Anh of the wonderful blog Chopstickpanorama, took some pictures and had some mediocre veggie burgers before walking up and down Oxford St. Thank you sweetie for taking my pictures - I need a better camera!!!

PS: Yes, I'm a blackie again, sorry for those lovers of my red hair! I just feel a lot more comfortable with my 'real' hair colour plus the constant re-colouring was quite a strain for my hair, so I'd rather not keep this up. But it was really nice while it lasted, hehe.

Während meiner unzähligen Besuche in meiner Lieblingsstadt London bin ich stets dem Stadtteil Soho treu geblieben. Ich weiß, dass Brick Lane und Camden Town cooler sind, Notting Hill und Marylebone besser situiert sind und dass Hackney und Dalston bei weitem mehr im Trend liegen, aber das ist mir wurscht. Auch stört es mich nicht, dass Soho wahrscheinlich nicht mehr das ist, was es einst war, aber die kleinen Gassen, die Cafés und die wundervollen Restaurants lassen mich immer wieder dieser Gegend einen Besuch abstatten. Durch kleine Boutiquen zu schlendern, sich zum Five-O-Clock Tee zu einem Earl Grey zu treffen oder am Abend überteuerte Tapas zu genießen - all das ist viel zu schön um es nicht immer wieder zu tun. Und so ist es auch mit Carnaby Christmas. Ich meine, hallo? Wer würde bitte nicht goldene Schallplatten als Weihnachtsdeko verwenden? Also ich würde definitiv!

Und so traf ich mich mit der supersüßen Van Anh von dem wundervollen Blog Chopstickpanorama, knipste mit ihr ein paar Bilder und bestellte ein paar mittelmäßige Veggie Burger bevor wir die Oxford Street auf und ab wanderten. Danke meine Liebe, dass du die Fotos gemacht hast - und ich brauche dringend eine bessere Kamera!!!

PS: Jaa, ich habe wieder schwarze Haare, tut mir leid für die, die die roten bevorzugt haben. Ich fühle mich mit meiner 'echten' Haarfarbe einfach doch viel wohler und das ständige Nachfärben war einfach zu viel für meine beanspruchten Haare, deshalb lasse ich das lieber. Aber es war schon schön, die 3 Monate lang, hehe.
