Well, not only do I seriously love this song as such, I also had to include it today because the wait for the beginning of season 7 of Doctor Who is finally over! Tomorrow night, the first episode (which, admittedly, I've already watched at the public screening in Edinburgh and tell you what, it's BOMBASTIC!) will be aired in the UK and boy, is everyone excited or what!? Are any of you guys watching Doctor Who? Or is everyone on here just like "What the hell are you talking about!" ?

So, this is me with red hair and I love it! I chose a bright outfit this time and I think it goes really well with the new hair. Sorry about the black tights, I thought it would've been cooler outside. But then again, they look kind of nice with the creepers and skirt, so I guess it's okay. What do you think? Too much black for the rest of the outfit?
The belt and skirt are from Urban Outfitters. I've meant to buy this belt for a long long time and now I finally did get round to it. Perfection in a belt, I love it!

Also, ich liebe diesen Song ja einfach schon an sich so sehr, aber ich musste ihn heute auch mit in den Artikel nehmen, um zu feiern, dass das Warten auf die 7. Staffel von Doctor Who morgen Abend endlich ein Ende hat!! Dann wird nämlich die erste Folge (die ich, das muss ich zugeben, schon im Vorhinein im Kino gesehen habe und ich sage euch, sie ist BOMBASTISCH!) im englischen Fernsehen zu sehen sein und Mann, wie gespannt alle sind!! Schaut jemand von euch Doctor Who? Oder denkt ihr alle nur "Was will die Alte eigentlich von mir!"?

So, hier bin ich nun mit meinem roten Haar und ich liebe es! Ich habe mich für ein helles Outfit entschieden, denn ich denke, diese Farben passen super zu der neuen Haarfarbe. Die schwarze Strumpfhose tut mir fast ein bisschen leid, ich dachte, es würde draußen kühler sein. Aber naja, mit den Creepers und dem Minirock sieht die Strumpfhose eigentlich doch recht okay aus. Vielleicht ein bisschen zu schwarz für den Rest des Outfits. Was meint ihr?
Der Gürtel und der Rock sind von Urban Outfitters. Ich wollte diesen Gürtel schon so lange haben und jetzt habe ich ihn mir endlich zugelegt. Ich bin so glücklich, Perfektion in Gürtelform!

Video: My New Hair

Oh my God, this is so exciting! This is a premiere: the first ever video on CATS & DOGS, how cool is that! I thought I'll just show you how my hair turned from black to red in a couple of hours and you'll also find out what products I used to get there. This doesn't mean I'll stay a redhead forever, but for now, it's a change I'm welcoming very much!

Oh mein Gott, das ist so aufregend! Dies ist eine Premiere: das allererste Video auf CATS & DOGS, wie cool ist das bitte! Ich zeige euch hier, wie ich meine Haare in wenigen Stunden von fast Schwarz in ein schönes Rot umgefärbt habe. Außerdem zeige ich euch, welche Produkte ich dafür verwendet habe. Das bedeutet natürlich nicht, dass ich für immer rothaarig bleiben werde, aber im Moment freue ich mich total über die Veränderung!
Und? Wie findet ihr die neuen Haare? Bitte teilt eure Meinungen mit mir, denn wenn das Ganze gut ankommt, poste ich in Zukunft vielleicht öfter mal ein Video.
Ach und sorry, es ist auf Englisch weil ich mir dachte, dass ihr Deutschen ja sicher auch ein wenig Englisch könnt, die Nichtdeutschen aber höchstwahrscheinlich kein Deutsch verstehen würden. In diesem Sinne: See you on the other side!

Breaking The Horizon

A couple of days ago, I had the chance to meet some British television people I've admired so much for a long time (but more of that later). The most special one of them having been the utterly brilliant, talented and very lovely Michael Price, London based composer for film and television. He's such a talent and If you're intrigued, go visit his website - it's definintely worth checking out! He's also quite the nerd when it comes to social media (and I'm not saying that's a bad thing, I mean, just look at me!) so you'll find him on almost any network imaginable, just look for his name.

This is the last post for a while with my trademark black fringed hair. I kind of can't wait to show you my fiery red hair (you can see it on Instagram already!) and also I'm really looking forward to reading no more Chictopia or Lookbook comments like "You look like a Carly Rae Jespen double!" because honestly people, I don't! It's just the hair!

The crossed knit jumper is from New Look and actually, it's almost that time of the year (nooooo!) where we can start wearing knitted pieces again. But at least I could still combine it with my favourite H&M bejewelled shorts this time!

Vor Kurzem hatte ich die Gelegenheit, einige britische TV Persönlichkeiten kennen zu lernen, die ich schon seit Langem sehr bewundere (aber später mehr dazu). Einer davon war der unglaublich brilliante, talentierte und wundervolle Michael Price, Londoner Komponist für Film- und Fernsehmusik. Er hat wirklich großartige Dinge komponiert und wenn ihr euch dafür interessiert, schaut euch mal seine Website an - auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! Außerdem ist er in so ziemlich jedem sozialen Netzwerk zu finden, schaut einfach nach seinem Namen.

Dies ist der vorerst letzte Post mit meinem typischen schwarzen Haar mit Pony! Ich kann es gar nicht abwarten, euch meine feuerroten Haare zu präsentieren (auf Instragram schon zu bewundern!) und außerdem freue ich mich ein wenig, dass jetzt wahrscheinlich keine Kommentare mehr wie "You look like a Carly Rae Jespen double!" auf Chictopia oder Lookbook zu lesen sein werden. Ganz ehrlich, ich sehe einfach nicht so aus wie sie - das sind nur die Haare!

Der Pulli mit Kreuz ist von New Look und bald ist ja auch wieder Pullover-Zeit angesagt (neiiiiiiiin!), also lege ich mir schonmal ein paar neue Modelle zu. Wenigstens konnte ich ihn diesmal noch mit meinen Lieblingsshorts von H&M tragen!

DIY Dip-Bleached Shorts & Berlin Zoo

A week ago, we went to Berlin Zoo again and spent a lovely time among all the lazy animals. With all the stress I'm usually under, it was quite a relaxing change to see all those animals doing basically... not much.

I was wearing a pair of shorts I DIYed myself recently. I simply cut off an old pair of pink Topshop Jamie jeans, stuck them into a bucket filled with Chlorine cleaning solution, washed and finally studded them with some leftover pyramid studs. I think the shorts look particularly nice with my blushing pink silk blouse. What do you think? It's not an innovative idea but definitely a cool way to make yourself a new pair of shorts if you have no money to buy a new pair (like myself, haha).

Vor einer Woche sind wir mal wieder im Berliner Zoo gewesen und hatten eine schöne Zeit bei all den faulen Tieren. Bei dem ganzen Stress, den ich normalerweise habe, war es eine tolle und entspannende Abwechslung, den Tieren beim Nichtstun zuzusehen.

Im Zoo hatte ich eine DIY-Shorts an, der ich erst vor kurzem so "schlimm" zugesetzt hatte. Ich habe dazu einfach eine alte rosa Topshop Jamie Jeans abgeschnitten, sie in einen Eimer mit Chlor-Reinigungslösung gelegt, später gründlich gewaschen und dann noch mit ein paar übrig gebliebenen Pyramiden-Nieten geschmückt. Ich finde, die Shorts passt besonders zu meiner rosa Seidenbluse. Wie gefällt's euch? Der Look und auch die Methode sind zwar nicht neu, aber es ist auf jeden Fall eine gute Idee, wenn man ein paar neue Shorts möchte, aber kein Geld hat (so wie ich, haha), sich eine neue zu kaufen.

These cool black chiffon sequin cross shorts (that remind me a bit of boxing shorts) I received from Sheinside.com only two days ago! They are probably the impersonation of perfection in shorts (except for denim shorts of course) for me, especially when it's so hot outside! I love the gothic cross design so much, it's very medieval somehow.
I paired it with a second-hand denim shirt and my Zara heels. I enjoy that it's a bit of a casual afterwork look but still really exciting because of the shorts! How do you like it?

Diese wirklich coolen Shorts (die mich ein wenig an Boxershorts, also die für Boxer, erinnern) habe ich vor zwei Tagen von Sheinside.com bekommen! Die Shorts sind wahrscheinlich die perfektesten Shorts der Welt (ausgenommen Jeansshorts natürlich), besonders, wenn es so heiß draußen ist! Mir gefallen die mittelalterlichen Kreuze aus Pailletten so gut - mal was anderes als das "klassische" Kreuz.
Ich habe die Shorts mit einem Second-Hand Jeanshemd und meinen schlichten Zara-Heels kombiniert. Mir gefällt diese Mischung aus casual Feierabend-Look und trotzdem auffallenden Details dank der Shorts echt gut. Wie gefällt's euch?
