Back to the Nineties...

leblog894
leblog895

Or at least that's the one big thing I seem to recall from that era... 90s I mean: showing off your belly all the time. Anyway, I am so sure this is coming back this summer, so you better get those sit-ups done, ladies! I sure am, haha.
Also, I realised they're selling those belly-button piercing thingies again, holy moly! Did you get your belly-button pierced back then? Maybe you're not old enough for having been a teenager in the 90s (and neither have I, I was only in elementary school), but I seem to recall the older girls all presenting those (uhm, not always tasteful) pieces of jewelry on their bodies back in the day.

Not showing you my belly-button today, but at least some of the area as it was warm enough and I kind of like the knotted-blouse-look (but yeah, it's not very forgiving, especially when combined with leggins!)

Oh and yes, my twisted ankle is a little better, thanks for asking. I think one day I will be able to walk again properly. Until then you can call me John Watson (the Martin Freeman one) because if I'm not having my pictures taken, I'm still walking around with one of those medical walking aids - super hot!

Have a successful week!

White skirt and twisted ankle

leblog883

Hey guys, it's been a bit quiet on here this week BUT I do have a reason: Exactly a week ago I took a leap and when I landed, twisted my ankle really badly so I couldn't walk anymore. Now, after a week, it's still swollen, green and blue as hell and also still kinda painful. But the doctor said, it would be good again in a week or two, so let's see if he was right. Anyway, that means no high heels, in fact any kind of shoes, anymore for some time! Terrible but at the same time I got the chance to spend some days longer than I expected with my lovely family who takes really good care of me!

Anyway, hope you enjoy these hippie pictures, no jewelry, no bag, no shoes, no nothing, haha. I kinda like it! Both the teeshirt and the skirt are from ZARA, the flowers are from my parents' garden!

See you soon, wish me health!

Instagram (Birthday) Update

Well, yeah, and a happy birthday to me (and it's gone for 3 minutes now, damn!)
Another year older, not wiser obviously, as I managed to twist my ankle last friday while staying with my family. So now I can't walk anymore and can't go back to Berlin for work tomorrow - bummer. Well, looking forward to my doctor's appointment tomorrow and while doing that, I'm listening to the Doctor Who soundtrack and wish you all well (hope you're better off than me!) Oh and if you want to follow me on instagram, just add me @rickylilly

Sparkles

leblog862

A few days ago, I received a surprise package from the lovely people over at SUGARLIPS. Inside I found a little sparkly dress that I decided would be best suited for a going out outfit. It's not my usual kind of dress as I don't wear a lot of sequins these days, but when I combined it with my big shoulder Zara blazer, it looked really quite nice. I even got a comment on the street from a guy telling me "Now, that's fashion!" Well, if he thought so, I should really show you the outfit, too, right?

Have a lovely weekend everyone, especially if you belong to the blessed ones (like me) that have four days off work!

Trip to Barcelona with Stradivarius

leblog851

A while ago, I was invited by Stradivarius to visit Barcelona (again!), yay!
Together with Jasmin, Anna, Jana, Julia and the team of German GLAMOUR (who also just published an article with a video HERE), we got the chance to visit not only the main store of Stradivarius on the first, but also the impressive headquarters on the second day of our stay! It was also there that we got to choose a complete Stradivarius outfit and do a cool photo shoot in the clothes.

Not only was the hotel we stayed in super gorgeous and the breakfast AND dinner we got invited to extremely yummy, we also had the chance to get to know the city of Barcelona a bit better, shoot some cool video sequences and take a load of pictures!

Thanks to the whole amazingly sweet and lovely team of Stradivarius, I felt so welcome in the city! I really wanna go back there!!

German readers, if you want to shop these fun Stradivarius clothes, you don't have to wait until they open a store in Germany sometime in the future - they have a lovely and easy to handle ONLINE STORE that you REALLY should check out :)

Thank you, Stradivarius!!!

Red and Blue (I love you)

leblog835

Ohhh, what a terrible rhyme, okay, forget the title!
I was so happy when I saw that my favourite after-work shopping destination (Alexa shopping mall at Berlin Alexanderplatz) had gotten a new little store and that it was Mango! The shop is really small but it's located opposite the ZARA store, so that's nice. And I immediately found these two pieces that I simply couldn't resist: the super comfy blue pants (note to self: need more wide pants) and equally as comfy tie dye knit top. I also think the colours fit quite nicely, yeah?

You'll hear from me again on the weekend, after hopefully having survived two days of seminar after an already hard week of work (who on earth invented seminars on a saturday? That's just cruel!!)

I appreciate all your feedback, so leave a comment below if you like, visit CATS & DOGS on facebook, follow me on twitter @rickyschernus or on instagram @rickylilly. See you there, girls and boys!
