Live Forever

Maybe I don't really wanna know how your garden grows 'cause I just wanna fly...
Today we sat in the garden, just had a cup of coffee and some biscuits, but shortly after we'd sat down, the clouds grew so big that we had to rush back home to pull the washing off the line immediately. And also, I painted my desk white today (outside) so we'd have needed to carry that one back in, too. But as it is, the black clouds just passed us by and merely dropped one or two raindrops... hmm, very funny, the weather keeps making fun of me!

Another thing I did today was trying on all of my three selfmade Lord of the Rings-inspired Elven dresses again... I once made them for several Ring*Cons and felt like coming back home only by trying on the dresses again. I miss them old geeky days a bit I must confess, haha! One day I should photograph the dresses for you guys, too!

Now I'm leaving you again in order to study for pedagogics a bit more... can't wait for the end of uni-times!

Il Decamerone

Yeeeesss, Germany won today's best of 16 match against England!!! Such an exciting match, even with the wrong decision of one of the referees... but face it, our boys'd won anyway!

I'm wearing florals again today - my lovely ditsy playsuit is just perfect for hot days as these. And we were still sweating, I love summer.
if you're wondering about the title, the book I'm reading right now is the first part of Boccacio's "Il Decamerone" - at least if I'm not studying for my final exam in pedagogics.

Star-dress and football-fever

Exactly! Yesterday I was sitting at the uni café when suddenly one of my English lectors came in and celebrated how France was losing their match, haha! Then she was also adding that England was gonna leave today as well - which as you all know didn't happen, they won!! Now, only Germany has to win tonight as well and everything will be good (for now!)
Today (and yesterday for my oral exam which went quite well), I wore this John Zack for Topshop star-dress from some seasons ago. I love stars, you might remember my starry jumper as well. When I was checking the fashion magazines at the store, I heard some two guys behind me saying "I think I'm seeing stars - you, too?" "Yeah, absolutely - is carneval on already?"... unbelievable! :D

Finishing up with uni business while my man was visiting the Alphonse Mucha museum in Prague on his job excursion - SO jealous, I'm such a lover of his work!!

Summer in the country

Spent the last few days in Hannover, planning loads of different things regarding my moving from one city to another, including all that money business and other... And it's so hot outside right now, really lovely, summer-time is here! Bought some bookshelves today, exciting, huh? Much more exciting: my lovely lovely bag and the feathers in my hat!
Tomorrow I'll be going back to Berlin, finally my man and I will be trying to spend some more quality time together - and putting some sort of carpet into the new flat... extremely fun, heh!

Fast Fuse

Yeah, I'm still alive, actually very much so! And I simply have to tell you that everything appears to work out perfectly well: I found a beautiful flat, I handed in my Master thesis, I finished loads of other work for uni and it's only one more month to go until my days as a student are ultimately counted!! Not sure how I'll manage the teaching in the long run, but we'll see. What's most important now is that summer stays here for a little longer and that the football World Championship finally starts!!
