Shadow and Light

I've completely fallen in love with this ruffled blouse I found for a handful of € on ebay, it's so easy to wear and I love the collar and the oversized look to it. It's a couple of sizes too tall for me, which is lovely because I can almost wear it as a dress! And cheapo lucky finds are always welcome of course. I feel like a complete Hippie in this, haha. My parents (late '68 generation) would (perhaps) be proud of me.

The fake fur teddy coat is a cheap second-hand find, too. I just had to shorten it a bit because I felt it looked a bit too "granny-ish" for my taste with it covering my knees (and I do like to show my knees, haha) But now it's perfect for the upcoming cold season. I feel this is the season of fake fur anyway. I'm eyeing the ZARA leopard fake fur coat right now, let's see if it'll be mineee soon :)

Today I treated myself with a haircut. I was in desperate need to trim my bangs especially, I could hardly see a thing :D
Later we took that lovely walk towards sunset and took some pictures.
Tomorrow, the new uni semester starts, kinda looking forward to it, all new seminars and seeing some people again will be sweet.

Is Heaven just in my mind?

Wow I didn't have the time to log into my blogger a lot lately, so I just have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYBODY for all your lovely comments, there was a whole bunch of them I didn't read, yet... so that completely made my day right now :) You're a bunch of wonderful people, I love each one of you!

Emem over at [We Love Colors] was sweet enough to send me these really fun splash patterned tights which I am really thankful for, they're too cool for school xD yet, I really wanna wear them for uni someday, just to see the reactions of my fellow students. I remember wearing a pair of blue sequin leggins to uni last year when everybody was looking at me like I was mad.
Anyway, these tights are so soft, very stretchy and much stronger than your usual H&M tights I should say. Oh what am I talking, they're so fun, get yourself a pair if you want!

Btw., it's so cold over here already, I didn't feel my fingers for half an hour after having come back home... winter is just horrible!

PS.: I've just been browsing my blog a bit, the booties I'm wearing here are the same ones I was wearing back in [this post], some of you might remember. But by now, I'm wearing the studded belts in a different way around my ankles AND I had to dye the platform and heel black because it was totally destroyed (sod ZARA shoes, really!) I also coloured the sole golden, just for the sake of it :)

Errors and omission

Hullo! This was quick, wasn't it? One day I'm apologizing to myself for having neglected my blog a bit, next day I come up with a new outfit post! I must say, I'm slightly proud of myself, haha.

This is one of my favourite autumn-combos so far. I feel I'm wearing this all the time. The coat is customised by me, because when I found it in the second-hand shop, it was far too big for me. I had to take in the sides about 10 cm on both sides! I also had to narrow the shoulders, remove the freakin' shoulder pads and on top of it all, I shortened the sleeves to a 3/4 length because I just liked it better. So that's it, my customised trench.

Uni is about to start soon, although actually, I have no idea if it's next week or the week after, haha. Should check that again.
I'm also waiting for a phonecall right now, to see if I'm taken to the Zooooo tomorrow or not, heh. Oh well... have a lovely day everybody!

Time is running oh so fast / Sale

Oh my, I've been neglecting my blog a little too much lately, and I'm honestly sorry. It deserves much more love, so I'll try to be a good girl again and take care of my cats and dogs a lot more again.
If the weather wasn't so lousy of late, I would have posted a lot of outfits, BUT I just won't stand in the storm and rain just to have my sister photographing what I'm wearing. So we'll just have to wait for sunnier days again, even though I know they'll become rare with the coming season. I never look forward to Christmas, by the way xD

I've been working a lot on my sewing projects recently. I've really been accomplishing a lot: a) I just finished knitting another Rodarte-inspired dress by order (if anyone's interested in one, just let me know, I still knit them by order), b) I'm gonna start knitting a cardigan in the same slouchy big-knit style, again by order of a lovely reader of my blog. c) I've been sewing a pair of dark blue velvet leggins (they look rad with a slouchy grey knit-jumper!) d) I've also been sewing a white lace neckholder-dress (aw so cute!) and e) I'm currently working on a Kimono-inspired dress with a black and white flower-print fabric. Super-busy but it's super fun!
