Love Sean's jacket + his [Chimera Music] teeshirt and Charlotte's silver dress. The feather in her hair is also a great hairdo inspiration :) No need to talk about Yoko Ono, she always looks very pretty and ladylike in all-black.

SOLD: Topshop all over embellished top, size s-m

P4017304
P4017385
P4017382

I'm selling this gorgeous premium Topshop top with all-over beading and sequinning. It's a very bright mint colour with beads in creme, black and silver as well as an endless amount of black and sheer sequins (even on the back!) It has a soft jersey lining and thus is very comfy to wear. It didn't get enough wear with me (wore it only two times) so I hope someone else will fall in love with it and give it the love it deserves.
Bought for 70 Euros, good as new condition. By now completely sold out in store and online (I only saw two left ones in Topshop Oxford street in early July)
I'll be selling for 55 Euros (perhaps negotiable) Please ask for shipping prices to your country as they may vary.
Interested? Contact me via email: akiri.kitty@gmail.com

Sneak.

I just meant to show you what I'm busy working on (among other things) at the moment. I bought this beautiful crèpe de chine in black a while ago and once I'm finished with the beaded neckline, I'll turn it into a flowy, very very heavy neckholder-dress. I'm sure it's gonna look amazing. But sewing the beads to the fabric takes AGES! I've been working on this for 3 weeks now... and it's sure gonna be another 3 weeks. I sew every single bead to it by itself. It's one hell of a task :D
I'm also knitting at the moment and got some white lace waiting to be turned into a dress... but one after the other.

And yeah, let's have a laugh. I've been stealing my moms leather flats the other day, and I can't stop wearing them even if they make my feet look like those of Daisy Duck. They are the most comfortable shoes I have been wearing in my life, I can tell you that! I'm not sure I'm gonna give them back to her, although I'm sure she misses them already. And I sure wouldn't wear them out too much, either. If only all the pretty shoes in this world would be this friendly to my feet.

You Taught My Heart To Sing.

I feel winter approaching with huge steps - only not today when I intended to photograph the jumper I knitted lately. I was sweating like mad in this thing, because - even though it consists of nothing but holes (yeah, like my brain I know) - it keeps you perfectly warm! (Which is apparently not needed with an outside air temperature of about 20°C)

By the way, it's so sweet of you people asking why on earth would I sell my self-knitted and self-sewn stuff, but that's the point, innit. It's something I do in my free time, doing clothes. Since I didn't go to design-shool (which I did consider for a long time before I decided to study education) it's just something that's so much fun to do besides uni. And I can always do something I really like wearing again for myself, so of course I want to share my stuff with you guys and am always so happy when I find people that love wearing my stuff, too :) Otherwise, this flat would've exploded by now anyway.

I love nudes this season, it's really lovely to wear and it gives you this kind of positive attitude that an all-black outfit just can't. The Emma Cook for Topshop boots are just the perfect kind of finish for an (almost) only bright powdered look. And they're sooooo comfortable. I basically live in them these days.
Admittedly, though, I couldn't resist with the black tights, but I just couldn't pull off a pair of bright jeans with this outfit, it did look really quite ridiculous, haha.

I just discovered a pattern here - taking pics on friday, posting them in the middle of the night from friday to saturday... let's see how long I'll keep this up.
Have a great weekend everybody and good night!

Miss Kittin

Topshop has one, too. But their faux fur leo coat costs a total of £90.00! Brilliant, by far too much dough to pay for a poor student girl comme moi. But it's kinda nice looking, anyway. I was sorta bored right now so I made a stupid photoshop pic, throwing in all kinds of leo, haha. Shoes are the infamous Ashish for Topshop as you all know, bag is from H&M (I might check that one out in the store, it looks kinda fun) and the leopard is from google ;)
edit: someone's been asking about this bag's price? I think it's about 25 Euros :)

Anyone sporting this look could only go to one event: the 100 000 000th cats-musical show, heh!

I was so SO SO shocked when I had a look at my giro at the bank the other day! Bloody hell, can someone please buy some of my stuff?

A hint of autumn

leblog645

Die Blätter fallen, fallen wie von
weit,
als welkten in den Himmeln ferne
Gärten;
sie fallen mit verneinender Gebärde.

Und in den Nächten fällt die schwere
Erde
aus allen Sternen in die Einsamkeit.

Wir alle fallen. Diese Hand da fällt.
Und sieh dir andre an: es ist in allen.

Und doch ist Einer, welcher dieses
Fallen
unendlich sanft in seinen Händen hält.

This little Rilke poem just came to mind, sorry, can't translate it right now, too tired from work! I do remember now why I quit this job a year ago - being a waitress in that bloody business lunatic asylum is suicide! Glad it was only today and will be another day tomorrow - never again, I'm telling you, I'd rather be broke!

Before all that I still felt good and this is when we took these pics.
I'm wearing that biker leather jacket I told you about - now I'm not so sure I wanna sell it, except if you make me a real good price. But yeah, I'm really not sure, I kinda fell in love with it. I studded it with over 100 pyramid studs, can you believe it? My left index finger-fingernail turned blue from being hit with a hammer one too many times afterwards o.O

The dress I'm wearing is another one that I made myself. It's made from an XXL womens' skirt I got from my mom's friend. I love the way it shows a bare shoulder/back, BUT it's WAY too short, yet I love it so much that I keep on wearing it continuously(with denim shorts underneath so that no wind can turn this dress into an accident).

My oh my, summer's almost gone, I'll miss my little dresses!

Have a great saturday my lovelies! I'll jump to bed.

Stuff for sale, part one.

I'm too lazy to upload stuff to my shop right now, so here's a little list of things that are up for sale right now :) Happy browsing!

I'm selling this 70s vintage skirt/dress, anyone interested? It's actually a long vintage skirt (size s to m) that I'm wearing as a dress here, with a top over it. So you can kinda imagine it's actually pretty long. If you wanna have it, drop me an email: akiri.kitty@gmail.com and make me a price-offer. I'm quite open for anything over 10€ I guess ;)

Also still for sale are the Topshop Predator gladiators size UK 7 (Euro 40) as they really don't find a lot of wear with me. Again, drop me an email if you're interested.

This Zara leather bag I'm selling for €25. It's big enough for books, folders etc., thus quite cool for uni, school, shopping and all that. akiri.kitty@gmail.com to ask for shipping rates or anything else you wanna know if you're interested in buying.

80s vintage real leather jacket, estimated size M (UK 10, Euro 38). Really warm and comfy, kinda mod style. If you're interested in this jacket, send me your price offers to akiri.kitty@gmail.com. Shipping might be a bit higher as this jacket is rather heavy (well, it is after all real leather :))

Selling this Zara dress size 38/UK 10. It's got a real vintage vibe to it, is knee long and made of two dresses actually. One very soft teeshirt dress with a check-cotton dress over it. Great for autumn, too. Selling for 15 €. Please, if you're interested, ask for shipping and anything else via akiri.kitty@gmail.com

Also for sale this Topshop/Asos skirt (mine is from Topshop). Fringes are made of real very soft leather, I payed over 60 € for it. Size is UK 10/Euro 38. Send me your (realistic - real leather, man!) price offers to akiri.kitty@gmail.com

Well, generally, if you're interested in buying any of these, drop me an email (akiri.kitty@gmail.com) and we'll talk it over :)
More to come AND outfit pics, too. But not as long as the weather is as horrible as this.

Ain't got much to do instead

iloveyoubutyouregreen

I was a troubled teen
Who put an advert in a magazine
To the annoyance of my imaginary lover
She doubted my philosophy
And this is what she said to me

She said oh, you, you're green
You don't know what love means
Oh let me tell you
Tickles you pink, oh yeah
But it likes to hear you scream
Fire and damnation, lamentations
For the likes of you
(I Love You (But You're Green) - Babyshambles)

Just some random stuff, really. Pic from last night. And I found this cute illustration somewhere on the net lately, it's quite perfect for my blog, innit^^

I hate spending money on things like simple black tights all the time, just because I tend to ruin them so quickly. I never know how it happens, and my tights do have a good quality, it's not like I buy the cheapest ones I can find - but then again maybe I should. Ah well... it's raining and I'm missing someone.

Promise to deliver new outfit pics soon... my photographer is so busy right now xD

Have a lovely day!

"There are only two tragedies in life: One is not getting what one wants, the other is getting."

Someone's been asking if they could copy my dress-design... well, I can't stop you, can I? Hehe... once I'm running my own store, though, I'll have to prevent this. At this point, feel free to do whatever you want with my designs - and maybe send me a pack of candy or a bucket of flowers, if you want :)

I think I need a fake leo fur coat for winter... they're so 80's hair metal for me as I only know people from that scene wearing too much leopard all over^^ I saw one at Zara already, anybody found a cool coat like these somewhere? Cheapish?

Have a good night!

Hello people, my life is driving me crazy at the moment.
I don't wanna start ranting, though, so I just say it's good, anyway. Yeah, I should still consider it good.
Have been knitting a cool jumper lately, will post pictures, soon, promise, I really love it, it's all in my favourite autumn-nudes.
I also studded my leather biker jacket to the extremes, and I think I wanna sell it on here - I guess you can decide on whether you need it or not when I post pictures of that, too. But if you intend to buy a leather biker jacket at the moment, wait till I throw mine on the market, I'm sure you'll love it ;)

Been watching Lars Von Trier's "Antichrist" yesterday - bloody hell. My first impression was that it was not nearly as good as he had promoted it to be and as I had hoped it to be. It was still kinda nicely shot, in Lars' own kinda trippy way. Without wanting to spoil the people that still wanna watch it, including two big topics of mankind into one single movie is a bit too much to ask for, even for a great director as he is. It was all a bit "too much", a bit pathetic and over the top while still being too flat about lots of subjects. All I really loved were the acorns dropping on the roof of the cabin, haha.

Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe still did a good job - even though I didn't like either character they played. I love this pic I found of Charlotte, by the way:
