Sometimes I'm lucky... been browsing ebay the other day, totally bored by my BA thesis writing, and found this cute ditsy floral jumper in a second-hand boutique ebay shop! It was like 15€ "buy now" price, but I was like hmmm, maybe I can make a better offer, so I offered 9€ and got it accepted, haha! Wonderful piece of clothing, for almost no money, that's how life should be like all the time :D

I don't like warm food in summer.

It's true. At least most of the time, especially when it's really warm outside I just can't stand anything but a fresh salad with avocado, lime, thin slices of chicken and some good vinegar. At the moment it's pretty much alright, though, the weather.
Just got a letter from the local customs, some package arrived for me. Damn those idiots, can't they just ship it as a gift or something, it's such a drag going all the way up north to pick it up!

I like these shoes - loads! They're extremely comfortable and since I was craving for some kinda silver dancing-shoes, these were just perfect! It's actually tap-dancing shoes, if anybody should wonder!

I really gotta gotta gotta work :/... everything is more fun and definitely more important than typing my papers atm. You wouldn't believe how clean my flat is every time exam-time approaches and term papers need to be written!

Those dancing days...

Here's what I thought. I really like simple black wellies, yeah, but I also like them to be a bit more... fun, okay. Why not pimp them up a bit - like someone, I even forgot who or what, suggested in a competition I read about on Facebook, too. Of course I couldn't join in the competition as we Germans are excluded in about half of all the fun, but I still wanted to make my black Hunter wellies look a bit more... individual, eh^^



First of all, you should clean 'em, right! Because no colour will ever stick to fucking dirty wellies full of dried up mudd from the last festival or general shit German weather :)
Then here's what you should have at home (if you're not into arts, an arts student or such things, you might have to look for all that in some artists' specialist or something)

Acryllic-colour base (which is colourless actually, but it's water-resistant once it has dried up)


Colour pigments in the colours you need, logically.


You also need a variety of brushes, something to mix the colours on AND at least a vague idea of what you wanna paint on your wellies.


Then just paint ahead like crazy and hope something decent appears on your boots :) If you're not that daring, you can maybe take some white pencil and draw some outlines on the boot before you use the colour.
Well, that's it... simple and nice, eh? Give it a try :)

More about the concert (it was, and not a play, even though the band-name "The Ghost of a Saber Toothed Tiger" initially was taken from a play Charlotte had written when she was seven years old!) perhaps later, just that much: it was beautiful, Sean and Charlotte and Yuka and Petra and Yoko were beautiful... but Charlotte was most beautiful! Anyway, we couldn't be arsed to take pictures, it was too annoying trying to handle the camera in an almost dark room, but it was such a pleasant thing to watch. I loved it!
My next time in London? Believe me, it's gonna be very soon!

Sorry for the absence! I'm busy writing my BA thesis and two other term papers at the moment as the end of the semester and my Bachelor studies in general approach with huge steps! If anyone's got any ideas on teaching reading in an EFL classroom (Foreign language learners of English) and/or physical illnesses in adolescence, you can give me literature suggestions or personal comments straight away! But I guess, not many people will, so nevermind, haha...

Will be in London 16th and 17th of June (next week!) so if anybody's around and wants to go shopping with me, let me know :D

Don't say you don't like it before you've tried it

It's cold in Hannover these days, very cold. No, I'm kidding, today was pretty fine, especially sitting on a heap of dried staw which not too long ago presented itself as a juicy green hillside. We're in desperate need of more rain, really true!

If anybody asked me about summer essentials, he'd get one clear answer, and you might have noticed already, judging by my last three outfits: cute, short, girly, vintage or not, dresses. I don't walk out the house without a dress these days and it's so beautiful.
This one I found on ebay for a handful of Euros. When our relationship started, when I unwrapped it from it's packaging and held it in my hands, it was long, almost to the ground, and I could smell the 1970s in it, originally. I was in love. But I couldn't do it. I love short flapper dresses, so our relationship had to survive a test. A scissors-test to be precise, and it did. Now our love has grown even, and when the temperature rises even more again, I'll be happy to wear my new love even without tights and knee-socks. Yes!

PS.: The new header shows a photo, believe it or not. It's a picture taken this afternoon, of the marvellously blue sky in Hannover. I'm in love, did I mention it?

PPS.: I made this rose-flower-ring today, isn't it lovely? I just took a fabric-flower and glued it to an old ring, I figured I'd be nice to wear with floral tights that also show white roses :)

Well, and now some streetstyle... I just have to show you this. He's a friend of my sister and I just looove the way he combined grey skinnies and a super-thin cardi with brown accessoires and the slight idea of blue. It's adorable on him!!
