Inspiration today

Since Queen Michelle, one of the two posters of the wonderfully marvelous Kingdom of Style was wearing those lovely floral tights, I was searching like a madman for a pair or two of a similar kind cos I knew they'd fit my style perfectly... and it seemed like forever. Yes, I was aware of some pages on the www selling those kinda gorgeous things, but mostly not affordable or hard to get ones for my humble me. So when Topshop put their three pairs of floral tights on their online shop, I didn't hesitate one moment to buy two of those immediately (And I wasn't wrong by doing so - two days later they were completely sold out!) And once again, I wasn't fooled by the quality of their producs and received two beautiful pairs of flower-pattern tights a week later. God bless Topshop! The print and feel of the fabric is just gorgeous... I'm in love!
Another fun thing is that when I was waiting for the train to college, I popped into the "Street" shoe-shop at Hannover main station, and discovered a pair of leather peep-toes reduced from €39,99 to €9,99! How could I resist, especially since I still had €10 left in my wallet? So I'm happily wearing my new heels and tights today... wonderful! Still colddd, though...

Today the bunny is wearing: Peep-toe pumps: Street, floral tights + blue dress: Topshop, black cardi: H&M, vintage butterfly belt: second-hand, DIY waistcoat: H&M and me, fake fur hat: H&M, bamboo-bracelets: Accessorize

Mother's wardrobe

Yes, it definitely pays out if you take a peek into your mom's closet every once in a while... I tend to always, but believe me, ALWAYS find something I can wear inside there. It's a miracle... I must say, I'm a bit sad that she gave away lots of her old clothing from the 70s, but luckily, she kept at least a bit of it. Like this brown felt-hat that I looove wearing, cos it really suits my head and hair-colour, too! Another thing I stole from my mom is this huge oversized knit-jumper - perfect for cold days like these... hope mom doesn't miss her pullover, yet... hehe.

Brown felt hat + beige knit-jumper: vintage, glossy leggins + cognac heels: H&M, fur-bag: second-hand

and with my coat... because I'm usually NOT walking around like on my pictures, don't worry!

The sequin pants

You can call it addiction, a sickness, bad taste and whatever else... but when I saw these to £15 reduced sequin skinnie jeans on Topshop, I couldn't resist. I agree they aren't for every occasion, but with very many outfits, they can look just great! And they fit perfectly, which is generally amazing. I ordered about 8 times from topshop.com until now and I never received a piece that did not fit me perfectly fine! A big yes for Topshop today!

Today I'm wearing: Palestinan scarf: vintage, oversized print tee/black blazer/chain necklace: all H&M, black sequin pants: Topshop, suede ankle boots: Zara

And I was wearing my lovely ice-cream earrings which I got from my boyfriend last year <3 still loving them!

Rule Britannia!

'Twas a splendid find my sister's friend once did on a British military base somewhere in Lower Saxony. Or rather, he stole it! The Union Jack that I'm talking about even has a hole in the middle and my sister is totally sure that it must be shot through or something! Anyway, that's what I'm calling true vintage. And it makes for a great scarf for sure!

Today I'm wearing: gladiator platforms: Topshop, imitated snakeskin leggins: H&M, sequin knit-jumper: second hand from Amsterdam, leather-bag: Zara, Union Jack flag: vintage

Bow-tie

Well, I'm noticing lots of cute alicebands, clips and other hair accessoires in the fashion bloggin world for a long time now and I decided it was finally time to get myself a quite wearable, thus not as peculiar a headband as the white flowers with the silver christmas-tree-bird on it, but still quite cutsie headband. Thus, since I stopped being a waitress for a couple of months now, I took my old bow-tie, cut off the bow and stuck it on a black alice-band. Simple as that, I have a sweet, elegant new hair accessoire now. Yey!

Please forgive me for wearing my sequin blazer again on these pics... I promise you, it went to its well-deserved rest into the closet now, haha. It's too cold outside again, anyway.

Colour (mis)matching

How can anyone wear green socks?!?! That's what my sister was telling me when she saw me wearing my forest-inspired footwear in my peeptoe-booties today. Anyway, that was one of the reasons I bought these open-toe shoes - to combine them with some trashy fun colour socks and tights. And today I felt kinda green, whatever that's supposed to mean, so I went for these funky socks.
And I'm finally ready to proudly present my Topshop sequin boyfriend blazer. It's become one of my best friends I gotta admit. It makes all of my everyday clothes a bit more glammy - and that's fun to me!

//EDIT: Aye, I dyed my jeans in some kinda purple colour... but it didn't turn out as much purple as I wanted it to be, so I'll give it another light dye on the weekend... bear with me!

It's all Greek to me

Photobucket

Alright, let's open another chapter in the book called Do It Yourself. I found this awesome non-shiny blueish-white silk in a drawer where my mom keeps all her old, unused fabrics lately and I just KNEW this piece of silk would soon have to be turned into a sweet dress. I also knew it had to be a little bit Greek-Goddess inspired since I wanted to make a dress of that kind for a long time, anyway - and this fabric seemed just perfect.
It's more of a summer-dress, however. Lucky me it wasn't too cold outside today.

Dress: Selfmade, short cardigan: H&M, braided leather belt: second hand, tights: H&M, leather-boots: second hand, wooden bracelet: H&M, shimmering silver bracelet: Bijou Brigitte

Military chic

When I stumbled across this terribly cute coat on Pret A Portobello during my Belgrade-holidays, I simply knew I had to get my hands on it sooner or later. So thankfully my dad agreed on offering his Visa card to buy me the coat even when I still found myself far away from home. So now that it is less cold than before I can enjoy my new coat to the maximum - which is what I did today. Teamed with a selfmade petticoat put together of old lace-curtains, H&M wool-tights, vintage glittery ballet shoes and my leather ZARA-bag, I felt like a miniature Mary Poppins for sure.

Don't be fooled, it's still cold outside!

Even though this is Hannover... in Hildesheim, it was much much much much much much much colder! It's not enjoyable anymore...
BUT my leather tassle skirt I decided to buy after all from Topshop is double enjoyable for that matter. It's so beautiful, dear! I love it, I wanna marry it, hihihi...
Also, Uni started again for me, after that short holiday... and dear, I wanna stooop it, I'm so horribly bored by it. I just wanna browse fashion websites all day and night. Someone, fullfill me that wish? Thanks...

Listening to ''Talkie Walkie''-Album by Air and dreaming of flying awayyyyy, from that cold and boredom. Dear Bunny-Prince, wanna go to Australia with me like that cop suggested?

Black hole sun

Photobucket
Well, what can I say... I haven't been freezing much taking these pictures, despite the low temperatures; the sun already has quite some warming up powers. My sister had quite some frozen-red fingers at the end of the shoot, though.. hi hi.
I found this kinda hop-hop-hippie-dress at ZARA yesterday and I love it. It's so comfty and cute and I got it for the sale price of 25 € instead of 40 €, which is even better.
